vs
Who wins?
Edit: It's classic Magneto as in the picture.
@kingares109: Her most infamous feat is probably fighting Supergirl to a standstill.
I want to Say Magnus but I know next to nothing about MM jr over there.
Also a location would help. Space, earth w/e.
IIRC Magnus can tap unto other planets Magnetic fields to increase his strength but when he did that he was in space......so... No idea.
@jestersmiles: He's also a hell of a lot weaker than when he performed most of the feats people reference.

That does not help xD
@xiix: Well wouldn't that mean its PIS in Supergirl favor if Miss Martian didn't use her versatility!???
@kingares109: She did partially(utilized shape-shifting, invisibility, and martian-vision), though it's true she didn't exercise her full versatility.
She didn't even use telepathy.
But she did basically showcase that she could trade/take punches from her.

Battle is on Earth.
@xiix: I figured as much..Fights like that go with Kryptonians vs Martians...Lol
If it's current, MM pretty obviously, classic/pre-marvel now Magneto just stomps, as Martians are stated to have a high concentration of iron in their blood.

Except for their ability to change that. Miss Martian was able to transform herself down to a cellular level and give a blood transfusion to a human boy. She could easily change the iron content of her blood as well.
@randomsid: did that happen outside of the Young Justicd cartoon?
@randomsid: That was just in YJ, it explained the creation of beast boy.
Even if it was canon, that's her go to move? Change her blood, then fight the guy who can vaporize people? That's a really crappy strategy.

Honestly, I'm not sure since I don't really keep track of every comic that comes out. But I did find this scan that I would assume that she could if she had to be able to trick hospital machines as well as people into thinking she was someone else.

Yeah, I don't see him vaporizing her when she can be intangible, also, he vaporizes people through magnetism, if there is no metal in her blood he could not vaporize her.
@blacklegraph: Magneto doesn't have problems with phasing, he nearly killed kitty pryde.
@randomsid: You do realize that she has an increased amount of iron in Martian blood. And Magneto has dealt with phasing before, he almost killed kitty pryde early in her career as an X-man. I'll put up the scans later.

How did he do that?
@blacklegraph: His magnetic field interfered with her phasing, it caused him an unpleasant jolt, and he then almost killed her. He could just drop a lethal Electromagnetic Pulse, like he did to Phoenix

This is Xorn, not Magneto. (and gladly so)
@adamtrmm: Ahh gotcha

I already addressed that in an earlier post.
Magneto has some of the best TP resistance. it comes from him being a Latent telepath.
Classic Magneto should take this handily
Really? Are you serious? I know I haven't kept up with comics in the last 5 years like I used to, but every single incarnation of Magneto I have ever seen only had TP resistance from his helmet. Had nothing to do with his powers at all.
@randomsid: lol Charles Xavier used Magnetos latent Telepathy to Telepathically communicate with Galactus and he was straining. Mags has gone into the Astral Plane and taken out Jean Grey. no the movies did a great job of lying about what protects him from Telepathy.

Umm yeah, not going by the movies, going by 20+ years of comics and cartoons.
@randomsid: lol well then if we are going by comics like you have said then you would know about the instances i mentioned already. and Cartoons hold no canon in comics either

Like I said, I haven't followed comics like I used to in the last 5 years or so, but going by 20+ years of comics, his TP resistance comes from his helmet. And yeah, the OP doesn't even list what version of Magneto it is. So yeah, comics, plus cartoons. The 90's X-men cartoon was actually very accurate to the comics.
@randomsid: Then do you realize how out of character it would be to randomly change the composition of your blood in the middle of a fight? Magneto has TP resistance without his helmet, pl nth enough to hold off Jean Grey Phoenix, great enough to be considered to only be behind Charles Xavier in psychic defense, the helmet makes him invisible, he has the resistance.

Sorry I forgot to specify, it's classic version as pictured.

"
That's based on Age of Apocalypse Magneto. 616 Magneto has never used this tactic before.

What? changing the OP mid way disrupts the debate. How about you make a better Battle and this would not be an issue you rude frack. You should know better with all those post under you.
Kinda sad really.
@jestersmiles: AoA Magneto is regular Magneto, just one who lives in a timeline where Legion killed Chuck X after Erik and Charles first met, he's fully capable of doing that, as well as a lethal EMP, like the one he gave Jean gray Phoenix.
