Midnighter solos.

Why? Because he has "already gone through a trillion different scenarios, and chosen the one that leaves the other team dead or dying."

With Longshot's mutant 'luck' power ... he'd probably pull off the trillion and ONE scenario that Midnighter's almighty battle computer hadn't gone through.

Luck is easy to account for, and bypass. The Battle Computer just has to calculate what would, at each given moment, be the most favorable thing for Longshot.

And wouldn't you know it...that's the one time the Battle computer shorts out...how unlucky is that?

@Shawnbaby: You do realize, that the 'battle computer' is not actually a technological thing, right? There isn't any parts that can be short-circuited through bad luck, or set to malfunction in any other similar way.

It's just a power, like his enhanced strength, his healing factor, his ability to do extreme speed in short bursts, etc.

Having his 'battle computer' malfunction, is just as likely as having Superman's strength or Heat Vision malfunction.
