"To be fair Thanos is now the Avatar of Death. Death is more or less = to Eternity IIRC
I dont understand...I thought Thanos deafeted champion who had a power ring, and Mikaboshi was one of those earth gods.

Mikaboshi at the end of Chaos War is way too powerful. He can kill Thanos with such ease it would be a waste.
