@Korg: Well i dont know the rules of a timed match but Tao is pretty quick with his manipulations so I beleive even then he would be able to convince him to make a mistake or just forfeit.

OK let put aside Tao ability to convince people to do anything. He has to use his strategic genius. The reason why i made this match because Tao was bred to be the perfect strategic and tactical genius.
Midnighter can know what an opponent will do and have a plan to handle it, but if they're too durable for him to hurt, he can't hurt them. If they're too fast for him to hit, he can't hit them but they can hit him. I think it might work the same here. Midnighter might have it all worked out, but Tao may just have him so outmatched mentally that it just doesn't matter. (I really don't know why one would consistently win over the other so I'm making up a reason that could be true.)
