Who wins and why?

Leaning towards Midnighter, battle computer and superior physicals are tough to overcome.

Could go either way but imo one hit from Midnighter & Hatake is down & being able to use doors to near enough teleport right next to his foe i will give the Majority here to Midnighter 6/10 ftw

Hmm well I am inclined to say Midnighter, but then again I do not think he would know about wood substitutions and clones that Kakashi could use. In a fight against such a serious opponent all it would take is that one mistake to lose. Stamina-wise, Kakashi's chakra levels aren't very impressive so I could see him running on empty before securing the win tho.

@profz: Kakashi's chakra levels are supposed to be his weakness but right now in the manga he's pulled off like 20+ Kamui shots in one day, his chakra is ridiculously high right now.

I'll say Kakashi 6/10 because his versatility (something normally negated by the battle computer) is just so insanely high he'll be able to keep Midnighter on his feet. He can at least try to compensate for superior physicals with substitutions, clones, Raikiri, genjutsu, and maybe by using Kamui on himself or his clones, have a clone pop in right behind Midnighter to pull off a Raikiri from behind.

@chibi_cute: If I allowed him to use doors directly he'd just BFR him to the sun or cut kakashi in half. This is also the reason I said no using Kamui directly. It'd be pretty boring if I allowed them to teledismember or BFR.

Midnighter must be really powerful. I should get to riding the issues I picked up.

Midnighter wins, due to better physical stats and superior precog. Kakashi seems more versatile, what with his many techniques, a lot of them related to speed, and he's very skilled, but i don't think he can beat Midnighter. I doubt he can hit hard enough, and stuff like lighting isn't anything Midnighter can't dodge or tank. I do think Kakashi is fast enough to hit Midnighter, just not strong enough to take him down. They're both extremely agile, i reckon there would be a lot of dodging involved in this fight. Eventually, though, i think Midnighter wins.

@menitojbs: Like 4 digit mach speeds, probably mountain-island lvl in potency, has a technique called Kamui by which he can telefrag anything in his line of sight (although he can't use it directly on Midnighter here it seems), lot of nijutsu based versatility with water and earth style elemental attacks, can summon trained ninja beasts which can fight independently, cast Genjutsu which is a potent illusion if he makes eye contact with Midnighter, has advanced move reading and technique copying with the Sharingan. That's basically the gist.

Since OP did not specify, people should just assume Part 1 Kakashi or anything more even, assuming Shippuden (especially last arcs) is unfair and not logical at all.

Why would it be Part 1 when OP mentions Kamui?

Midnighter could take it with prep and knowledge, probably. He is out stated too hard in everything besides raw strength (and an argument could be made in Kakashi's favor) and his superior precog isn't an auto win here with Kakashi having his own inferior precog as well. Midnighter isn't surviving Kakashi's ninjutsus either.

lets face it. Midnighter also fights total dumbasses all the time. Kakashi has never had a battle without a plan. Midnighter's precog is left rather vague at times, but it is pretty clear that it isn't going to magically identify every little trick Kakashi might throw until Midnighter has seen some of his abilities. By then it is too late.
