Why wouldn't he be able to predict his moves? He can tell every skill power and ability Iron Fist has by sensing his electrical brain activity, there is nothing Iron Fist can do about that

Iron Fist can't heal himself when Midnighter punts his head off of his shoulders

Round 2: The team, but I wouldn't count Midnighter out.

He's always showing the ability to predict people's moves. What makes you think Iron Fist is special?
Charged bullets (which this IF wouldn't have anyway since he doesn't carry guns) can be dodged just as easily as normal ones.
Healing's only helpful when you're alive to do it.

He can cast illusions if he can get close to the target and the target is standing still, and no his chi cant make IF immortal, thats not said anywhere, you just made it up...Midnighter kills the team easy...

@BattleHeiz: So because he has some energy in him Midnighter can't handle him? Tell that to Lamplighter, Winter, Apollo and Hellstrike. They're made of energy and he's beaten them. He's dropped the Doctor as well so if it's because it's magic that doesn't mean much either. IF watched Orson mind trick one random guy. Doesn't mean any illusions will work on Midnighter. Iron Fist's are not unkillable.

Round 1 : midnighter wins but it would be one of the coolest fights to ever see
Round 2 : team 2 because I'm sure the three combined could come up with a way to stop him together.
Round 3: team 2 because they have more numbers and power but could still lose if midnighter manages to outsmart them at that moment so they win but barely.

First of all he can cast illusions even if his target is moving
Second he can hide his brainwaves with his chi and he can easily change his fighting tactic and also he can use his chi to make himself stronger and faster than Midnighter
Third Iron fist can stay alive even if you destroy his entire body just like this one did and then he turned himself into a giant mecha :P

How can you expect Midnighter to win against someone like him?????????????????????????????

Midnighter wins round 1
In round 2 I'm assuming the prep is for the second group and the outcome would be determined by just how much they are able to discover about Midnighter (assuming round 2 is basically starting over as if the three weren't killed in the first encounter with Midnighter).
Again if everyone is alive for the round 3, the outcome would depend on just how much of the power cosmic Midnighter was afforded. Characters who utilize that power source have multiple power levels, depending on just how much of the power cosmic that they can tap into. The same question goes to the Nova Force. Is it completeley distributed among the three? Do the three each have the maximum level available of the Nova Force that has been displayed in one character? Too many questions to determine the winner of this round.

@Forever: I'm good. I came back over spring break and I figured I would be gone when I came back to school, but that didn't happen for some reason. Summer started and I'm job hunting but in the meantime Wildstorm characters are getting an increase in attention in the forums so I'm here.

@Buckshot: Glad to see things are going well and you're favorite characters are getting some use. That's the first thing I noticed when I looked into the battle forums. Midnighter seems to be drawing a crowd, trying to gauge his place again. Just like old times.

Knowing something is possible and knowing how to do it are two different things. Furthermore, knowing how to do something and actually being able to do it, are also not the same thing. And beyond that, being able to do something and demonstrating the ability to do it so it can be used in a fight are totally different. Do you realize now how far Danny "knowing something is possible" is from it being usable in this fight?

Reading up on the characters you are debating with/against, is stupid?

Again, when has Rand ever hid is brain waves with chi, and someone already pointed out that he can cast them when he's close to a stationary target.

Reading up on the characters would help you out more then just making things up about them.
