Mid Level Tournament - Sign Up

Hey guys, so we've now managed to captivate both ends of the spectrum, from Street Level to Herald + with @beatboks1's tournament. Well let's give the middle ground some appreciation why don't we? We want characters that on Iron Man's level, maybe a little above, but definitely BELOW Herald level. (E.g, Yes to Captain Britain, No to Kyle Rayner)

Rules/Set Up

- Standard knock out tournament. Need 8 or 16 players (Preferably the latter)

- 6 Members per team

- Must be a Comic character (Or at least have appeared in a few issues even if they are not native to the comics e.g Luke Skywalker)

- Only 1 iteration of each character (E.g, say @cadencev2 gets in a picks Thor (Ultimate), then no one can choose Thor (616) for example)

- Strength limit - I think we'll allow a little over 100+ tons. (But don't go crazy. No one in Superman's level, but Namor/Wonder Man/Captain Britain is fine)

- Energy Manipulation - No greater than Vulcan (Might limit to a lower degree if I can find someone more appropriate)

- Psionics - Nothing above Rachel Grey/Emma Frost

- No Reality Warping/Time Manipulation

- Basically, you know what kinda power we're expecting, so judge it appropriately

- BFR might be allowed depending on scenario

- Prep will be available

- I'm going to nick an idea from Beatboks and we'll be having some form of boon for the winning team in each round.

- Also, I encourage picking teams that are compatible, team work is going to be essential at some points

See the big EDIT. I wasn't sure since Zoom is not a skyfather level character and didn't see the time manipulation ban if that was a loophole. I acknowledged the Reality one though Idk why I ignored the other. Anyways my team will be as Follows: Doom, Richards, Forge, Strange, Marko and Drake. This should suffice.

It is incredibly broken as an army of Superfast Mimics would be downright unstoppable.

Should've tossed in Fantomex so you've also got a hundred Mimics with Misdirection, lol.

I completely glazed over the team in the OP. Guess I'll trade out Magik for Amanda Sefton armed with Magik's Soul Sword and Armor.

Madrox even without Mimic is incredibly overpowered.

@juiceboks: Did you even read the limits? Every single character you've chosen breaks them. Etrigan is Superman-level, Abomination and Cosmic Rulk are both far too strong, and Phoenix is way above Emma Frost. Also, you get 6 characters, not just 5.

@esquire I saw someone take Classic Juggernaut and Blackheart so I didnt think Etrigan would be too far fetched. Also I wasnt sure about Phoenix Jean so I provided an alternative. Cosmic Rulk I can agree with but Blonsky is debatable. But then this is why we're here. To edit our teams wherever needed.
