Yeah in the animated series Mikey was faster the raphael. I thought Mikey was actually the better then the others just he goofs off to much...kinda like spiderman

Well for what i understand from the rule he cant do that, i always think Leo was overrated, i mean in the Cartoon Donatello almost kill Shredder once, of course Donatello belive he was Batman or something like that, i always think Raph was the better figther, but when he is angry, any one could beat him

@DeathpooltheT1000: I disagree Leo was the best fighter clearly in all mediums. In the Mirage Comics by killing the Shredder one on one. In the 2003 show on all accounts he was always better then his brothers. And in the movie he lasted longer then all the others.
@Crom also don't forget in the last movie, Raph beat Leo then bailed....the problem with Raph is his temper otherwise he's nearly up there with Leo. Leo is the most disciplined and leader of the group.
@MKF30: In the movies Raph was at his closest to Leo. But in the 2003 show you couldn't even compare. Leo's feats were so above Raph's it wasn't even funny. I couldn't even begin to start listing his feats of badassery.
Yeah in that particular 03 series, well not sure about that show per-se (usually the cartoons aren't canon to the comics and movies) but I know the last movie was confirmed canon by the creators taking place after the second film based on the comics. The shows "kind of went out there" at times I mean the 80's series had Shredder as a joke character more or less...I mean lol know what I mean?
Raph was no slouch though in that show either, Leo obviously will always be recognized as the overall best turtle fighting skills wise.

not saying he was but I'm talking about the TV show before it was ruined by the Fast Forward run and Back to the sewers. And in there, Leo showed skill far above Raph
Fast Forward I actually liked but can't be canon lol...that's what I was thinking when I saw that. BTHS I didn't watch, so I can't judge. Original 80's was good but far too goofy.
And the 2003 was ehh, making Shredder an alien kind of didn't sit well with me but I lived with it lol.
Yeah, I agree about Leo being the best in those shows but just saying they may not be canon to the movies and comics(which are canon) still I enjoy them though :)

exactly his irritating joking around is why he beats Raph. you take that away and he loses.
Donny is the best, IMO. But Ralph wins here. He seems to me like the older brother who is more experienced and isn't afraid to show it. Micky's personality gets in the way too much.

He is the main hero, most of the times, the main hero could beat the other guys for being the top dog. DBZ, for example, so many of the character were better that Kakarot, the same could be say about JLA , the Avengers, The XMen, ETC...

I agree. Mike is cool and funny in his own right but definitely not on par with Raph with fighting skills overall.
Raph is easily the best fighter. Even in the first live action movie, after he gets jumped from the foot clan, the rest of the turtles say, "We could really use Raph right now".

@Matezoide: cool. Leo has: -Decapitated the Utrom Shredder, even thought 4 turtles fighting him were getting their asses handed to them using the Sword of Tengu -First held his own, then in the last arc (ninja tribunal) defeated Karai, who has defeated every last one of the other turtles without effort -Thrown a news paper in the air and cut it into hundreds of identical stars -Stalemated Usagi Yojimbo (if you know who Usagi is you'll know why that matters). -Soloed the entire Foot compound to reach Karai and defeat her (the above mentioned feats) -Defeated the tech foot soldiers (invisible ninjas) alone -Fought Master Splinter and managed to lay him on the ground -Stalemated Agent Bishop, something none of the other turtles have ever managed -Held his own against the elite foot alone and managed to escape -Schooled his 3 brothers fighting him in training sessions on at least 3 different occasions
And that's just on top of my head there is more, there is no question Leonardo is the superior turtle in the 2003 show
