I belive that Metron would lose this battle by default (not having enough telepathy feats), like Gorr or H'el, but I could be wrong.

I'm not entirely sure that Metron (who knows just about everything there is to know) wouldn't just use the Mobius Chair and/or Mother Box from the get go to open the dimensional wall to that dimension where Cyclops draws his Optic Blasts from and "make it rain" on Essex before he ever knew what hit him (LOL)!!!

I've never seen Metron taken out or down in that way so It's possible, but I'm not so sure it's all that likely. In Round 1 anyway. Round 2 Metron curbstomps.
