Melinda May and Grant Ward vs Black Widow

I know Mays supposed to be on the same level as Natasha, but she has way less feats, so I have her Grant to make it more fair.

Ward is like my favorite character on that show. I think with Malinda's help, they will take this. Ward can improvise with anything, and May is just lethal period. Widow is good, but even Clint said she is a better spy then solider. Which, is what Malinda basically was.

I don't think Melinda is the same level as Natasha...just the next level down...but by herself on that next level. I think Widow can take them both, but with a lot of effort and trouble. She's peak-level everything (ie - just below superhuman), and I don't think Grant or May are (Melnda might be peak level in one or two categories at best). Widow probably has better general weaponry as well.

To be honest, I think the entire team would have trouble taking Widow down. They might end up doing so in the end (most likely due to Grant/May using some Fitz/Simmons gadget), but I doubt they could hold her very long before she broke free.

Widow. She's dealt with more dangerous, and the reputation and skill she has is obvious in Agents.

Widow. If May and Ward were honestly at her level they'd be on the Avengers team.

be a cool fight but BW with probably know what they are going to do before they do. it wouldn't be easy though

black widow will win, agent may is good, but even teamed up, I don't think they can beat natasha

@banemax: i think it can still be confidently said that Widow is better than either one. But I think together they stand a chance, writing them off because they're not Avengers isn't very good logic since there's a lot of reasons why they aren't Avengers(they were created for the TV show, they aren't comic avengers, etc) and if we are thinking up in world excuses it could be said that May wasn't part of the avengers, because she didn't want to be in the field anymore.

@matthewparker: Because I'm re-watching season 1 and from what I've seen it seems like he's had greater feats than her. But I also don't know how far May has come in season 2.

@transformers1024: Cool I am too, (FZZT is by far my favorite of the earlier episodes) how far in are you? Because by the finale May beats Ward, and May's added some more impressive feats in S2, so has Ward though. I think they're pretty equal with May bring slightly better, but to say Grant is that much better than May seems ludacris.

@matthewparker: I actually didn't catch the finale when it first aired so that's why I started over from the beginning so I'd remember everything that had happened, so I didn't know that May beat Ward LOL. Right now I'm watching Nothing Personal which is episode 20, so I'll be completing the first season tonight and may torrent season 2 before Tuesday night so I'm completely caught up.

@transformers1024 Sorry for the spoilers! Also so you watched 20 episodes in 3 days? I'm impressed. I'm only on episode 9, I need to work on my binge watching skills, haha.

@matthewparker: I have some severe insomnia, so I stay up really late on a regular basis. I tried fighting it but I eventually just gave up and now I can stay up all night and not even be affected by it the next day. So to cope with the nighttime boredom I binge watch random shows in Netflix haha.

And it's all good. I've caught some of season two and saw Ward was imprisoned in Coulsons new shield office so I figured something had to have happened, I was just confused to how he got there. Now I'm looking forward to the Mockingbird episodes - from what I've seen she's by far my favorite character on the show. Marvel got the perfect actress to play her and she's written really well.

May has proven herself more skilled in h2h in my opinion, but Widow's gear could win this for her.

Could go either way. Natasha can win if she manages to keep them at a distance. But once they close in, she'll loose quick. Leaning towards Team.

May and Ward more times than not

@angeljax: I honestly don't see how this isn't an effortless curbstomp. Both Ward and May have waaaaaay more feats and accolades than Widow does.

They'd take her out quickly. Either one of them can solo, tbh.

I'd argue that either of them could solo by the end of Season 1, tbh. Widow is a brilliant operative, but there wasn't really a decent argument to be made for her even back then...other than the usual "She is an Avenger/she is in the films" BS. lol

Agreed. She doesn't have skills or the physicals to hang with either May or Ward. Her best bet is her taser rods.
