@spider-manwins: It is when there is not a scratch on him. It obviously caught him by surprise. Spider-Man alone doesn't survive a direct hit like that. Or how about when Iron Man survived being in the Helicarrier turbine for 10 or 15 secs? That proves how durable that armor really is.
Iron Man has kicked Thor hard enough to send him flying a bit and thrown him around. Regardless, Tony mostly uses his weapons and not meele.
Spider-Man used physics intelligently to stop the train, not sheer strength. He uses multiple webs to slow down the train and it still left him useless. Otherwise, he would have stopped on his first try when he tried to put his foot on the tracks. It was going too fast and hurt his foot. Also, proof of durability that isn't as good as you think. Iron Man would have easily stopped it. Hell, he was able to push the turbine from the Helicarrier. That thing is serveral hundreds of tons heavier than a train. So, no, train feat is useless.
Faster and better reflexes than Iron Man? You bet. Inconsistent Spider Sense? Yes. Was Spider-Man still tagged by Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Hob Goblin, and Sandman? Yes. So his reflexes don't make him untaggable. Just harder to hit. And Iron Man deals hits faster and stronger than any of those villians. He isnt going to stand there and try to punch Spider-Man. He'll do what he always does. Stay in the air, use repulsors, or missiles, or blitz at mach speed. You can't seriously tell me that Spider-Man iz going to dodge everything he throws at him, including high power explosives.
Also, the webs couldn't keep Green Goblin trapped, or Doc Ock, or the Lizard. All who are much weaker than Tony. Seems to me that the webs aren't as effective as you want them to be.
