Cap has his shield while spidey doesnt have his web shooters. Morals off for Cap and morals on for Spidey. Battle takes place on empty Ny streets. Who wins?

Strength-wise, they may actually fill a similar category. But Spider-man's speed, his ability to outrun electricity, is way beyond Cap's ability to compete with.

The only noteworthy feat Cap had in AoU was throwing that motorcycle, which pales in comparison to Spidey catching a cop car with ease.

@phantom16: Steve is weaker, slower, and likely cannot break Spiderman's webbing I also disagree that Spiderman is less durable, Steve isn't fighting and tanking hits against opponents in Spidermans league, and before you even bother with AoU Steve was never a threat to Ultron and was mostly just a distraction especially once he lost his shield and Widow had to get it back for him lol.

Critical cap fan here...but after watching amazing spiderman 2...it seems spidey has way too much agility, reaction and combat speed for steve...peter in a good match in my opinion...

Nothing will change after civil war, stop the train or insure a car without much effort is much more impressive than holding the helicopter.

Captain America throws his shield at Spiderman. Spiderman dodges it, grabs it and throws it back at Caps head killing Cap.

Spiderman wins this but if Steve really holds that helicopter that's a pretty insane strength feat.

Most civilian helicopters can lift off with max weights of 10000 lbs plus. Every chopper is different but that's insane if he holds it from lifting off.

Peter wins.

Cap beats pathetic ASM/ASM2 Spider-man.
