@ultrastarkiller: Didn't that laser have trouble hurting the space whale in Avengers 1? The same space whale Hulk killed in a single hit? I know ABC logic does not apply here but I doubt that laser is getting through Hulk's skin and even if it did his regeneration plus thick muscle and tissue would prevent any serious damage.

Tony really has nothing that can hurt Hulk for more than few seconds without the aid of the Hulkbuster.

@titanbreaker: That's different though. That's brute force vs piercing damage. Hulk/Abomination has shown no resistance to anything that pierces stronger than a bullet. But yeah I agree though that they can't really hurt Abomination without it.

They can take him.

Firstly, they can both fly and he can't. Secondly he got taken down by a chain. Sure the hulk choked him out but he still got taken down by a chain, it didn't even break.

Thirdly, they have tons of projectile weapons. Abomination looked like he was getting injured by helicopter gunfire. He doesn't have any fantastic durability feats and as far as we know doesn't have anywhere near as good durability or healing factor as the hulk. I doubt he would handle an onslaught of bullets, missiles and repulsor and unibeam blasts.

Especially since we have seen that they are capable of combining their attacks such as when they took out Vanko.

Without special Armour, Emil wins (IMHO).

I'm backing abomination here. Without something like the hulk buster, I see their armor being torn apart within minutes

@hollow_point: Based on what exactly? Abomination, in the one movie he was in, didn't show any amazing speed, didn't show any amazing ability to jump, got choked out by a chain...etc. This ISN'T comic Abomination. This Abomination showed nothing compared to Hulk.

Abomination dominated the Hulk right up until the end, And Hulk only began putting up a fight when he got angry and desperate, only getting the better of the Abomination when Emil was targeting the Ross's, We saw what the Hulk did to Tony's Hulkbuster armour, and that suit was designed especially for battling the Hulk, And even then the Hulk would of torn it apart bit by bit without the repair parts being constantly available, What makes people think that both Iron Man & War Machine's normal suits would last more than 5 minutes once Abomination got his hands on them.

I can see the point made about Tony and Rhodes using ranged attacks, That would be a problem for the Abomination, But then I would Imagine he could just retreat to a place where that stratagem is no longer as actionable, or where he can ambush them,After all the Abomination is no mindless brute, (Though I do see the difficulties of ambushing someone with the Technology of the Iron Man suits).

The Hulk in the Avengers is Stronger than the one Abomination fought, Team can win this.

Laser cut through fodder bots and trees. That's it. People need to stop acting like they're OP.

Leaning towards Blonsky. I just see the Iron Bros unloading everything on him and eventually running out. They'll have to get in there and get physical and then Abom will have the advantage.

I would've said abomination if it weren't for the laser in Iron Man 2. Without that Tony and Rhodey are screwed

They don't have the firepower to bring him down. He doesn't have flight to catch them and bring them down.

One thing I don't get: why does Rhodey exclusively use guns when he has the way more powerful repulsors in his suit? It's stupid.

@shiryu: He's probably comfortable or more familiar with bullets. Plus, with repulsors you have to be more accurate than just spraying and praying. But you definitely have a point. The writers just wanted something that made his suit different from Iron Man's. The shoulder mounted gatling gun is a trademark symbol of War Machine.

I'd say Abomination barring any environmental factors (like dropping a building on him).

The team literally has every advantage but Durability and Strength. But none of those advantages can overcome those two. To top it off Blonsky was a pretty top notch military trained operative, who was far more skilled than the Hulk. He used weapons, and was even able to snatch a rocket out of the air with his back turned to the shooter initially.

Team can either

1. Lose in a long fight
2. Run away
3. Attempt to use the environment in some major way.

2/3rds of those options are a win to Abom, and the third is unlikely at best.

@shiryu: In the comics Tony repeatedly made fun of Tony for mounting a minigun to his suit, even Rhodey admits that the mini gun and other ballistic weapon are just there for show.

They can hover over him and wear him down with repulsors, unibeam, laser, bombs, rockets, etc.

Iron man can solo, all he needs is a chain.

Why? What was wrong with Rhodey having a mini gun?

@gxrevolution96: It's really not practical, since ballistic weapon are much weaker than repulsor based weapons, also it's very easy to break, being a minigun mounted on top of a suit.

Abomination can take them. He is physically stronger than Hulk at base AND he possesses the strategic intellect of an experienced soldier.

Tony repulsive ray wasn't able to kill neither Bucky nor Steve.

Their weapons can hurt him but never would be able to kill or ko him .

they need Hulkbuster buster to win.

There is no "base hulk" atleast in MCU.

Also, 2012 hulk >>>>>>>>>>> Abomination.

I'd say Abomination 7.5/10 times....

I feel as if he's just too much of an overpowering threat for Tony and Rodney to cope with. While the might be able to fly, Emil did show impressive jumping feats, and be able to resist most of their basic attacks. However, the reason I say that IM and WM are still capable of winning is because they might come to their senses before they are teared apart limb from limb, and summon the IM army of suits. Together, the suits would easily defeat Emil.

But with just the two of them, Abomination's physical attributes would play a huge advantage for him. All it takes is one mistake, giving Emil the opportunity he needs to rip either of them to shreds.

Also, if this was comic Abomination, he would win 9.5/10 times. He is considerably more powerful in the comics after all.

I don't think they can solo in any suit but toguether with the newest suits they can do this.

Abomination wins. They can't put him down someone who can tank an RPG with ease.

Team should still win. Iron Man and War Machine’s armor packs a lot more firepower than a handful of military attacks. Plus that repulsor team attack they used on Whiplash would probably mess Blonsky up pretty badly.
