Maxima DEFEATS Thor with mid-difficulty!
Her impressive telepathic abilities are leagues above Moondragon, Emma Frost, Professor Xavier, and dare I say, Sentry himself!
Like Wonder Woman, Beta Ray Bill, Big Barda, Orion, Thor, Lady Sif, Spiral, and Gladiator, Maxima comes from a warrior's hierarchy plane of existence. She is slouch when it comes to melee combat, weaponry, and applying her versatile powers during combat.
At first glance, she would viewed Thor as a potential mate to bred more powerful babies on her planet. However, as she reads his mind secretly, she is quick to discover his heart belongs to Lady Sif. This angers Maxima to the point of her unleashing a strong telekinetic blast that throws Thor more than 30 feet below ground. Feeling her powers, he retaliates by summoning and hurling lightening bolts at her, in which she dodges. He then summons hurricanes, and she counters with telekinesis. He fires a massive energy blast, but she quickly counters it with her ferrokinesis. She attempts to BFR Thor to the sun, but given his durability and dimensional teleportation abilities, he is able to withstand the sun's intense heat long enough to teleport back to the fight. He charges at her with his mystical hammer, and Maxima charges in with psi-daggers which happened to paralyzes Thor momentarily. She realizes her psi-bolts and psi-daggers are more than enough to force Thor to submit, so she utilizes her speed, agility, reflexes, psionic weapons to repeatedly hit him around his body. He feels the psionic energies of those weapons, and begins to lose consciousness. Not falling down without a fight, Thor then uses his rarely used soul manipulation on her only to for her to teleport out of harm's way. She returns to the fight, and pummels Thor by combining her strength, speed, durability, and matter manipulation abilities. Thor tries to use his matter manipulation abilities, but is kicked up toward the skies. She rushes after him only to get the hammer drop immediately. A few minutes passes, and she gets up confused as to what hit her. Despite being dazed, she rushes toward him only for Thor to charge his hammer for his ultimate, powerful, last resort powers, the God Blast. As she nearly reaches to his location, Thor fires his God Blast at close range to her. She couldn't stop herself from rushing toward the God Blast, so she uses her telekinetic abilities to protect herself from Thor's powerful attack. Her telekinetic shield begins to crack within a few minutes, but she hasn't been defeated yet. So, she fires off a psi-bolt at him, rendering both combatants flying off to opposite continents. Considering how much energies and magic Thor had to relied upon for his last resort God Blast, he could barely get back up. Considering how much pressures, attacks, and energy blast Maxima's telekinetic shield has hold up planetary attacks in the past, she teleport herself to Thor. She watches as he falls down, reeling from losing so much energy from his final attack, so she decides to follow the honorable warrior's code, and finishes him off with more psi-bolts and psi-daggers to his organs. He loses all consciousness. As the queen of her warrior-bred planet, she takes the liberty to teleport Thor and herself back to her planet, where her personal assistant is preparing a wedding in his defeat.
