Maxima vs Big Barda

I love Maxima.  The entire concept behind the character is unintentionally hilarious.

It'll be a close fight and one I'd love to see in the comics but I bet Barda wins.

Most important point:
Maxima is faster

Maxima can create the shields that power girl can not break through can is a powerful telepathic.

Maxima may consider Big Barda, Wonder Woman, and Superman to be worthy opponents, but she would stomp! Maxima is way too versatile, and her physical skills is more powerful than Big Barda. Furthermore, she could face Big Barda in a fighting match & still come out on top since she was also raised from birth to become a warrior just like Wonder Woman, Grail, and Big Barda.

Barda probably has her in strength, probably fighting ability too, but Maxima has extreme Telepathy. I'm talking breaching New Gods & Brainiac level defenses which MMH and Martians in general have routinely struggling against.

If motherbox can protect Barda, I'd go with her (Strength + weaponry).If not, Maxima given she's nearly Superman level.

And meh. We don't know how Barda's motherbox compares to Orion's stat wise, every motherbox is different. Not to mention I don't think it was specifically stated that Orion was even using it outside my own assumption, especially since he wasn't even focused on her.

Regardless, given how easily Maxima was able to blindsided Orion, it at LEAST messing with Barda is a high probability.

Was it stated anywhere that Orion was actively using his motherbox to shield himself from telepathy?

Most of the time she’s busy keeping his face from resembling Darkseid’s. Also in the pages of JLA, Steel had to specifically ask her for telepathic shielding.

I mean it’s still impressive either way but if Maxima one shot Orion using his motherbox for extra defense it’d elevate her above the likes of the Eradicator, whom she failed to defeat

That Maxima feat is so outlier-ish that I'd also say Orion wasn't being shielded from telepathy.

Either way, there was a lot of flagrant jobbing in Panic in the Sky, it shouldn't be taken as the definitive measure of power for anyone except Warworld-amped Brainiac.

On-topic, Maxima takes a solid win. She has superior stats and superior hax.

At that time, Orion's motherbox worked over time to calm his constantly building rage. If Barda carries a motherbox, her mind would be easier to shield from psi.
