Faraday should take this if his power source in Wildstorm is equal to the Presence. He can do things that Lucifer can't, like create without Michael's power. Max could do anything that he believed possible and was as close to omnipotent as you can get. I think he could take Lucifer alone, but would lose to the duo.

@baron_von_santa: do you think Luci and Michael together could beat max?

@profz: how can he lose against the duo? his power, as you have said, is limited only by his human mind. he can wish both lucifer and Michael away.

@beware_my_power: no. together they have the power of total creation, not offensive power. their attacks do not become more powerful.

@baron_von_santa: So Faraday's human mind > Lucifer's? I would seriously contest that. Lucifer is around to corrupt and deceive people, that's kind of his MO. He's been doing it for billions of years...Faraday was some idiot pizza boy before he got the power. He is not intelligent enough to have a battle of wits with Lucifer.

@profz: I meant a battle of power. if lucifer can use his manipulation, then max can go say his prayers.

@baron_von_santa: Thats what I was thinking. Power wise def goes to Max, but Lucifer always manipulates in a fight. Unless the person if vastly below him he seems to constantly be looking for a manipulation opportunity. I think he would end up winning this fight somehow.

Lucifer he has more experience with being nigh omnipotent.

@beware_my_power: he would, but I was like, comparing their powers, and what would happen if lucifer does not.

@baron_von_santa: so, could he just get max to kill himself despite being weaker than him?

@beware_my_power: lucifer is an expert at that. no one is better at manipulation than him in comic history, and max is nothing special when it comes to manipulation resistance.

Lucy has the experience. As far as authority goes I'm not sure. Usually with near omnipotent beings like these authority=power, so whoever has more cosmic authority or said reality is more powerful.

Lucifer is just more powerful in terms of reality warping and overall power.
