Though Steve would beat John 117 in a 1v1 IMO (depending on the OP); MC and Caps both die in the wake of the destruction wrought by Kratos and Superman, making them complete non-factors here. Even though current Supes isn’t as durable as he has been in the past, he still has more than enough strength to put down Kratos.
I smell some Superman fanboys and before you start saying I'm biased for one of the characters, lets get it straight. I dont play Halo or God of War, nor do i read Superman or Captain America, but I am well aware of what they can do. I agree that Kratos doesnt have the as much strength but, not that he isnt in Superman's league.

But he's not in Supes' league...we are talking about a guy who can fly faster than lightspeed, is strong enough to lift the earth for 5 days straight without exposure to sunlight, and has tanked hits from guys even stronger than him. He would destroy Kratos.

before calling anyone a fanboy you should educate yourself with the characters, superman can speedblitz kratos, kratos won't even see superman coming, superman can fry him with heat vision, superman can punch him to oblivion, he can freeze him, etc....and im not even a superman fan, i don't particularly like the character.
Couldn't Kratos freeze time? Game play doesn't allow for complete control (there were parts where time did need to transpire to allow for progression) but I thought it was established he has mastery over time. I wonder if that could make a difference. He has the hermes boots which don't make him anywhere near quick enough but he has a wide array of magic, which is superman's weakness. I could see the Hades claws possibly being effective but still very doubtful.
This is a curbstomp for superman imo but Kratos. I think MC slaughters Captain with his future tech plus he is a spartan himself. MC was also given a power boost in Halo 4

You forgot that Supes is weak to Magic because Kratos has those :p
@gingerpenny: He is not. Superman is a planet buster, Kratos is barely city level. Captain America would dismantle that embarrassing excuse for a “godslayer.”
