I'm skeptical as to Chief being able to land a hit on him. I know Spidey can drop MCs shield in a good hit, as for the fight, it might take a little bit of effort but Spidey would take this maybe 7-8/10 fights. Def not easy though.
MC quite easily. Fighting against an armies of the flood, heh you could place Spiderman in that same situation and give him weapons, i doubt he would stand a chance. MC wins this thanks to the sheer amount of experience, hell of allot better martial arts combat, a shield and weapons that are far more advanced that could tag Spiderman.

Try dodging all those bullets, lasers and other various types of weapons and snipers aiming only at you. he survived it all and lived to tell the tale. spidey isnt a war fighter though thats a completely different subject of course he would survive he doesnt have nearly enough wepondry but the point is that this is a 1 on 1 battle and spidey is good at fighting at least up to six guys with guns

The only thing that really saves him is his senses. And MC got his own little battle computer like midnighter that gives him and even better advantage.

I doubt that he could take a full out punch from Spidey....remember Sider man regularly holds back on his punches ever when facing super powered enemies...with his speed agility and strenght just punching someone would completely obliterate them.

Yes, and the spartan laser seems to move a lot slower than light, and doesn't seem to be a laser, you can't see a laser beam from most directions, yet the spartan laser is fairly easy to see.

which by then, he would dodge and MC would have calculated in which direction Spiderman would move and put a bullet in his face the second he moves in that certain direction.
Spider-Mans speed, agility, reflexes, and strength are all superior to MC's...by in close I mean a H2H fight so the gun isnt part of this, and the Shield only works against energy attacks from what I thought...it doesnt protect against a physical punch
Good fight...Spider-Man is tough to kill because he has trouble with beings like you have mentioned but he also hangs with and sometimes beats heavy hitters.
Physically they are pretty similar i would say, they can probably jump about the same height, land speed i say a spartan is faster, durability definetly the Cheif [Dont even think webbing would be usefull just wrap around the shield and it can be extended so it would rip through the webbing in no time]. Spiderman makes a living dodging bullets but surely when someone with reflexes at least on par with him is tracing his movements and is then further helped by tracking programs in his helmet Spiderman's ability to dodge succesfully gets lessened. In close combat i would give it to the Chief, again, the shield is tough as hell [survives atmospheric re-entry and falls from several kilometers] then the armour itself is tough, with, a layer of reactive gel [this makes his suit a bit like BP's in that it adjusts to absorb impacts]; the Cheif has also been extensively trained in many martial arts since the age of six [he is 41 now].
