All of that Karen Traviss author fanwanking crap was retconned when she was fired for horribly butchering any kind of Star Wars canon related to force sensitives and Mandalorians. None of Boba Fett's feats of doing stuff like beating Jedi masters unarmed actually count.
For anyone that doesn't know who needs a more complete explanation: Karen Traviss is an author who worked for Lucasfilm and Del Rey publishing. Her novels frequently depicted Jedi as hypocritcal, weak, and even downright villainous. Her novels centered around Mandalorians and their culture, and her favorite character was Boba Fett. The last straw was when she worked on the Legacy of the Force series with two other authors. Each author was to alternate in writing the novels, but they were supposed to follow a somewhat set in stone path set by Lucasfilm, the details were left up to the authors though. Everything went pretty good, until the 8th book, when Traviss decided to deviate wildly from both the story set by Lucasfilm, and the plans that the three authors had agreed upon. This was the last book she ever wrote for Lucasfilm and Del Rey publishing. After this she was let go, and over the years her various works have been retconned. In fact it's only a recent-ish retcon that Mandalorians aren't a separate species, they are in fact Human.
Basically, the author that pumped up Boba Fett is a dangerous retard. She hates Jedi so much, (yes, hate for a fictional group of peace loving characters, I know, like I said, dangerous retard) that she has openly said that anyone who likes the Jedi is a member of the, "Talifan Bathrobe Brigade". When I say she's crazy I mean that in the most literal sense of the word. I think that Fett's better feats should be dismissed on the grounds that they have been retconned and the author that wrote said feats is criminally insane.
