We'll put the fight in Gotham. Bats has his arsenal, Master Chief has a battle rifle, pistol, and frags. He also has Cortana. Throw in the Batmobile to make things interesting.
Master Chief. I dont think Batman could do a thing to stop hacking attempts from Cortana and when it comes to the physical the Master Chief is sooooooooooo much faster than Batman, probably as good a fighter too. Chief could literally kill Batman with a gentle pat on the back.

I dont think so. Personally i think even with prep Master Chief takes it. When it comes to war/fighting/battles MC can prep with the best of them...and dont forget the lovely Cortana.

None of this matters, because Master Chief is stupid, whose only power is to slowly aim at monsters with weapons. Master Chief doesn't matter, he has none of those powers, because it appears that you can't use them playing the game, therefore all that cool but ultimately useless stuff has not been proven to me. Batman wins in hand to hand combat, without his suit or utility belt, sitting in a chair.

No, I'm not reading the books, and I'm not conceding to logic on this. My hatred for Mastter Chief overrides everything else. Batman smashes his fist through Master Chief's helmet and breaks MC's legs with the intensity of the blow, killing the stupid character.

How? He has never met the Chief. How can you plan an attack on a guy with technology far more advance? Not to mention he doesn't know anything about the Chief.

The battle isn't based on prep-time. Batman has no clue what Master Chief is capable of. Having plans to take out every member of the JL is considered prep. He doesn't have it here for Master Chief.

Is the EMP device a part of Batman's initial equipment?

Does Batman carry an EMP on his person? If so, how powerful is it? I know he has an emergency taser system wired into his costume, but I doubt that's strong enough to get through MC's shields, much less short out the armor. And if MC is close enough to be hit by the taser, he's close enough to crush Batman's skull like an egg.

You haven't said anything that proves that.
Lets say Bats does have his EMP,it only disables his sield and his link to Cortana or w/e,but he is still faster and stronger then Bruce,thats the end of the story.
With prep i am still inclined tom give it to the Chief, afterall a bullet in the head doesnt need planning. Batman has NO chance here. Forgetting writer fluff, Batman is in no way strong or fast enough to do a thing to Master Chief. Also Cortana can cause havoc too: planes dropping out of the sky and such. Most of his 'powers' im getting from the books, but in the little series out now he seems to be even hencher, being able to take several hits from Hunter cannons...so a Batarang aint gonna do a thing. Say what you will Gottheit but simple fact is Batman isnt anywhere in his league.
Once Cortana gets into the Batcave computer, it'll be all over for everyone involved. She'll be able to control the vehicles, the security systems and anything else that has a sufficiently involved computer system. Meanwhile, John will be amusing himself by pulling Batman's limbs off one by one.
I think its difficult to put the Halo world into some of these battles as its more 'real'. For instance a laser shot going past someones head in most comics would be nothing, but in the Halo universe you would get burnt from the excess heat and maybe get a dose of radiation. Master Chief may not seem much on paper in standard comic terms, but he is seriously lethal, they dont bother with benchpressing and what not rather strength would be shown by ease at which a Spartan could rip your head off or push a steel door off its hinges.

Actually, that's a good point. Comic characters dodge lasers all the time, even though by definition they are moving at light speed. Sometimes these comparisons might not work based on the rules of their comparative universes.
