The middle street does not lead anywhere.  Assume it is a dead end.

Rules

-Both teams have basic knowledge of who they are facing.  This includes names and basic power set (physical attributes, standard gear, if possible, mutant abilities). They know nothing of the other team's personalities, tactics, and so forth. 
-Both teams are aware of the starting locations. 
-Character morals apply. 
-Elimination by all standard methods (BFR, KO, incapacitation, death)

-No weapon swapping or simply using another character's weapons/gear. 
-Characters will not cause physical harm to teammates on purpose.  
-Characters have unlimited ammo unless otherwise specified.
-Keep in mind, you're debating why you believe your team would win in combat based on how they would act.  Not how you would command and plan the attack.

I'm willing to admit I only know the basics of most characters plus what I learned from being on here.  IF there is a team I can function with and no one else wants it, then I'll play. But since it's a team effort I wouldn't want to bring my fellow viners down. "

Yeah, but these things are usually first-come first-serve. 
There might still be a spot available for me (though I'm only interested if it's for Marvel. I really don't know DC.), but I don't exactly have high hopes :/ "

I would love to compete if there is a spot, DC or Marvel, it doesn't matter.

As long as they're all well-known characters and generally street level, I feel I could competantly debate for most Marvel teams.

Indeed as long as the teams incorporate people who aren't too obscure, I could defend most teams rather well.

As long as they're classic Spider Villains I should be up and ready to debate.

I have an extensive DP and Weapon X collection and I have extstensive knowledge on these characters. So in a completely non egotistacal way I say I'm the best choice for this team.

X-Men

(Hope the H2 thing works. I've never tried it before.

I'm not sure I can honestly say I am the best possible choice to debate for this team (I don't have that much of an ego), but the X-Men are my favorite team in all comic book-dom, and the team on whom I am the most well-versed. Wolverine, Gambit, and especially Nightcrawler are all characters whom I know quite well, and I feel I could competantly debate for all three of them. 
Not sure what else to say here. Like I said, it's not like I'm Comicvine's resident expert on these guys. There are still plenty of Viners who know more about them than I do, and may be able to debate for them more skillfully. Nevertheless, I believe I could hold my own with a team like this.

I nominate the Marvel Knights team.  I have an extensive collection of Daredevil comics, have many Punisher comics, and have a lot of academic MK knowledge.

I nominate myself for the Sinister Six, I loves me some crazies and Norman Osborn is the craziest person in the options. I also am an avid fan of Doctor Octopus. As I generally use stealth and ambush, Sergei's powers and skills would fit in quite nicely.
