@thetrauminator: The official rating for Taskmaster has his fighting skills at maximum. Not to mention he can learn any move he sees, so Taskmaster could learn Akuma's fighting style in just seconds. Akuma would probably lose now that I think of it.

sorry these are out of order... but as you can see Deadpool clearly keeps up with Iron Fist throughout the whole fight... i feel like he is under-rated as a fighter mainly because of how silly he acts

he's able to catch a bullet... and he was moving at regular speed here... he can double his normal speed for a small amount of time... so i need to know more about Akuma and Dante but Deadpool and Taskmaster arent going down without a fight

@kidman560: Dante's physicals are already leagues above of Deadpool's, and his skills are pretty close to his too.

But what really tips the scale is Dante's Devil Trigger which grants abilities such as:

Temporary invincibility, slowing down time and enemies, flight, even more super speed, fire powers, lightning attacks, etc.

Some of these are borderliene mismatches. Akuma annihilates Task. He can basically teleport, destroys meteors, submarines and islands. Strider also megawtf stomps Hawkeye. You've played too much MvC/

@darthaznable: Yes I am using game mechanics where Frank West could beat Shuma-Gorath in a fight. No, I'm only using the game's roster. So, comic feats are obviously included in these fights seeing as half of the roster originate from comics.

well it was DMC 3 Dante in that game so he was weaker obviously. but i thought only things of magic/mystic nature could harm him? he casually shrugged off bullets from lady got shot in the head, stabbed, and so on the only way he got tired was he was tricked into fighting his way up the tower against other demons

The day you read Nova VS Pheonix Wright, you know it's going to be a weird one.

@manchine: Wolverine has had extensive training as a soldier, a CIA operative, a samurai and a member of the X-Men, Not only that but he is an amazing martial artist himself, with expertise in Japanese martial arts, and has mastered 15 forms of martial arts. He's even managed to par with Iron Fist and Black Panther. Without his claws mind you. So, how is Ryu a better fighter? Let's not forget his claws which would put Vega to shame.

Dante also has swords and a healing factor as well. I doubt Trish could take on Super Skrull, he's like the Fantastic Four in one... Vergil is no pussy lol, he would blitz Iron Fist. Also, Frank West wasn't in Dead Rising 2 ;)

Since when does Dante have a healing factor, and If so, Is it really on Wade's level? Can Dante walk away from a 50 megaton nuke unscathed?

As for Trish, like I said, it could go either way. If Skrull has his crap together he can win, but likewise for Trish.

Vergil is a another pretty boy with pretty boy swords and pretty boy hair and pretty boy jackets. Danny can punch mountains out of place. Nuff said.

Didn't realize this was a battle thread at the start. Otherwise I wouldn't wasted my time in this. I stay away from the battle threads because of drawn into useless debates. NOT everyone wants to debate.

I got suckered into a debate one time in a apocalypse/hulk thread. I brought proof but the guys kept ignoring it stating there info was right. I got blamed for trolling which was later removed but still I promised never to come back. =) Found out they were trolling same guy multiple accounts.

@rd189: this comment gave me cancer lol. You think someone with all the powers of the fantastic four amplified will lose to someone with an infantile understanding of knowledge ok... Oh and ironman crush morrigan badly. Horribly bad. I also think you dr.dooms shields can tank anything the whole street figure universe could do to him. Chun LI isn't making a dent. Virgil would crush iron fist.

@rd189: Dante has had healing factor since his first game, and no he couldn't tank 50 megaton nukes unscathed and quite frankly I don't think Deadpool could either. Just because Vergil is a 'pretty boy' with 'pretty swords' doesn't mean he would lose to Iron Fist. Iron Fist wouldn't be able to tag Vergil, and Vergil's sword can cut through practically everything, including people.

4. Deadpool vs Dante = The son of Sparda destroys him easily
5. Captain America vs Felicia = no comment
6. Doctor Doom vs Chun Li = Doom kills Chun-Li even before she can come near to him.

8. Thor vs Amaterasu = Thor wins. He has way more feats to back him up
