• Samurai Jack has the robotic arm (as pictured) + ancestor amp
• Edward Elric has the philosopher's stone

Rules

• NO morals but in character
• Anime team has prior knowledge about Cap's shield + BP's vibranium suit
• Neither team has any other prior knowledge
• NO prep time for either team
• Everyone has standard gear unless otherwise specified
• Fighters start 150 feet from each other
• Win by death, KO, incapacitation

Fight takes place here (at night):

All civilians you see in the picture are there when the fight stars.

Well, no morals means they don't care about any of the civilian's lives, so there's not really a point for having them their XD

Anyway, I'll probably give it to the anime team after a fairly long fight.

Samurai Jack isn't anime.

Strongest version of Spider-Man w/ The Other powers + Spider Fu

That's Captain Universe Spider-Man with the Uni-Power. Basically he's Cosmic-Level. He punched Thor so hard the golden-haired Asgardian was knocked into orbit instantly. Captain Pete can solo the entire team effortlessly.

@reikai: Ah, missed that. Yeah, Captain Universe Spider-Man would solo. Unless Seras somehow managed to soul steal him, but then again, that would probably conflict with that "in character" rule. Yeah, spite.

@god_of_batman: And wouldn't work given where Pete is gettin his power from. He was going a little crazy with it. Very angry and emotional. Kinda why when Thor tried to settle him down, he back-slapped him. So, Cosmic Petey stomps.

Nah it doesn't anime is just short for animation so anything animated is an anime.

Perhaps that was the original meaning of the word, but over time, the phrase "anime" has come to adopt it's own meaning, so when we talk about "anime" Samurai Jack should be left out.

First off the graphy in photography isn't using the Latin suffix ''the science of'' It comes from the Greek meaning graphos which means ''the art and field of ''. So by actual definition photography means ''the art of light'' which, if you go by what original form of photography with is recording light or other electromagnetic radiation make sense.

Yes the dog from up is anime character just like Naruto is a cartoon character since they both are animation, now I'll accept what @nickzambuto said since yes, the separation of the two has become a general consensus, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's right.

This is a cool matchup, I`m giving it to the anime team due to Edward, Seras and Jack those three will be the biggest players for the team to edge out a victory.

Off Topic: Jack is not an anime character he is an (american) animated character, anime specializes in its own terms and its of its own origin for how its perceived as animation. For example, Danny Phantom wouldn`t be an anime character but Ichigo would.

Don't know why people are purely focusing on Jack, Afro's not anime technically either despite being based off a manga. That's really not all that important though. Anime team should win between Jack and Seras with their stats and Edward adding a lot with his diversity.

I honestly wasn't expecting this thread to derail into a grammar war.
