@green_skaar: gala tis isn't close to that power level. An over-fed Galactus was still stomped by 3 celestials, granted he oneshotted one of them at first.
It's been a long time since I've read the story, wish @killemall was around more often....
I believe you are referring to Last Plant Standing. To be honest the portrayal of Galactus there felt a bit weird because Galactus being more powerful than Living Tribunal didnt make sense. Also what didnt make sense was Living Tribunal would even bother to join an assemblage of Elders, cosmic cubes and Stranger. That was rather weird.
Though during Jonthan Hickman's run of Fantastic Four, Galactus that fought the Celestials had fed on 4 planets in anticipation. Is that really overfed Galactus? I dont know though there is an earlier story that contradicts it. Its called the Black Celestial arc.
Its an old Fantastic Four story where Reed Richards has to travel to the future to save it from a threat to the whole multiverse. Turns out the threat was Galactus going rogue. He actually eats the Black Celestial for his meal. He was going to consume the whole universe and continue to the next. Galactus later willingly allows Reed to nullify him using the Ultimate Nullifier.
There are few stories that hint Galactus might to a lot more powerful than what we know of if he does not have the conscious limitation on how much he feeds. BTW it has been explained that Galactus feeds on one planet at a time because of a conscious limit he himself placed on his hunger. Without his self imposed limitation it has been said again and again that his hunger is boundless. There really is not limit to how much he can consume.
Sorry about the late reply..
