Because of a mad scientist, all the squirrels in the world gain eye lasers (copied directly from the cells of Cyclops) but these lasers also have the ability to detect invisible and or corporal sentient beings. They are also mounted flying mini MLRS launcher that constructs new rockets once per day out of the ether, which on impact, can turn any living creature into blueberry pie, intangible or otherwise. All squirrels are every bit as intent on murdering and pillaging the animal kingdom and human cities.
To combat this threat, and to protect the life of all creatures, every known super soldier and soldier, asgardians and not, are asked to annihilate the squirrel army and protect the animal kingdom.
