Martian Manhunter FTW, just as strong as Superman, that and what is Mags going to do to an oppoent that strong who can go intangiable. Don't think his telepathy can get through his helmet though.

Anyway, it's inconclusive as to how fast Northstar was moving against Magneto. J'onn should be at least as fast as Superman, as far as flight speed goes. However, he rarely speed blitzes his opponents, anyway.
I heard that Magneto was able to hurt Kitty Pride while she was intangible. Something about manipulating her electrons. If this is true, then Martian Manhunter going intangible could be dangerous.
Good fight, but my money is on the Martian Manhunter. First he use's superspeed than he goes intangiable than it's his invisiablity; takes Magneto's helmet off mental attack or superstrenght. WIN!

He did indeed. Magneto pretty much has a feat for every of MM powers.
That's something that comes from the animated series, movies or badly written stuff from the recent X-Men series. He doesn't need his helmet to stop mental attacks. He has done so multiple times in comics.
@Precise: I was referring to when Prof X kind of mind wiped Magneto after he pulled Wolverine's adamantium through his skin. Does anyone know if Magneto has fought Sentry or Gladiator that would be as close to this fight as i can think of.
Going intangible/desolid/non-corporeal will still keep Magneto from hitting Martian Manhunter with ferrous objects And Martian Manhunter likely has the strength to break free of Magnetos direct magnetic holds.
Uhh... Martian Manhunter would obliterate Magneto. Magneto's psychic resistances are usually strong enough to fend off Xavier, but Manhunter...? Jeez. That alone not to mention all the other Superman like abilities... Curbstomp from hell.

His resistance to psychics doesn't come from his helmet. That's in the movies, some cartoons, and the Ultimate comic books. Regardless, I stated that he's able to resist Xavier, but Manhunter is superior to him in that level so it's a non-factor anyhow. There are other ways he could take him down, but I'd say his best bet is to just use psychic powers and such.

@Enigman: Nah, it's okay. It's pretty easy to fall into that misconception due to so many sources portraying it like that. It has been like that at least once in canon comics, but once or two out of 50 years is not the norm. I suppose as a plot device it's okay, but that whole "remove his helmet" thing is old, stale, and really only applies to Juggernaut.

Yeah. I have no problem admitting when i make a mistake. I actually knew that it wasn't the helmet prior to the movies etc but as I stated, I was in error and was completely mistaken. I didn't sweat it. It happens to us all at one time or another.
J'onn FTW. He has all of Superman's powers, can phase through anything Magneto throws at him and although he can't telepathically attack him, MM can physically knock Magneto out after a bit of a fight. No problems here.
