Probally Kc supes. But if martian manhunter does somthing like go through his mouth to his insides and expand untill supes explodes then manhunter wins.
Without intangibility, he can still do to KCS what he did to Ultraman. KC also has to deal with Jonn's healing factor and the fact that Jonn can roll with his punches using his shape shifting. It might play out like MM vs SBP in the beginning but I think Jonn wins.
KC Superman stands a much higher chance, that's for certain. His superior strength and speed could enable him to earn a big physical edge. But MM's regeneration and shapeshifting could enable him to come back from KC's attacks and molecularly manipulate him like he did to Ultraman.

Doesn't change the fact that MM made Ultraman look like a chump with ease. Ultraman still had good feats against other Earth 1 characters such as Supergirl yet MM overpowered Ultraman much more easily than Superman has done in the past.

The fact that in the very next page that isn't shown is Superwoman standing over Ultraman telling him that the stuff that makes him...ultra is kept on their earth (3) far away from him and that every second he's separated from it and his universe makes him weaker tells you that it's one sided, not to mention Owl Man in the very next page basically telling the reader that they've been sent to the one place/alternate earth where they can't win/succeed!

Not really much to explain. If Superman and Martian Manhunter had an arm-wrestling match, Superman would win. May not be easy, but he'd eventually win. KC Superman doesn't have as many feats as the regular Superman, but the few he does have are impressive enough to suggest he's at least on par with the New Earth version, if not above him. I don't think J'onn is strong enough to pull off KC Superman's feat of throwing off the combined strength of nearly the entire JSA, plus Star Boy's gravity field, nor do I think he could move swiftly enough for someone like Jay Garrick to remark that he's nearly as fast as Wally West. Intangibility and telepathy make for J'onn's best bet against an opponent like that, and without them he's outmatched.

KC Superman was billed to be far above New Earth Superman, IMO that's what the writers were trying to show, there was a clear power gap between them (KC Suprman is atleast 3x more powerful than New Earth Superman), and originally (before the Earth 22 fiasco) he was said to be New Earth Superman from the future.
@laflux: His best bet is his molecular control because with the other limitations to J'onn I really don't see him physically winning very many fights with a much more powerful version of Superman.

It's well written in print in the graphic novel if you've read it, Ultra Man was growing weaker by the moment, the crime syndicate had about as much hope of winning any battle on earth 1 as Batman and his team with Luthor did on earth 3, it's quite evident, posted the scans. It makes little sense to say it's no excuse just because you don't like it or agree with it. To each the own.
