Martian Manhunter vs Doomsday

These are two powerful characters i have been interested in lately, so i wanted to know who would win.

Standard personalities

Fight to the Death

Fight takes place in a desert.

Martian Manhunter v.s. Human Torch is a lot better read.

If it's the most powerful incarnation of Doomsday, then it'd be really, really sad if Manhunter could do it by himself. If DC would ever do that, it would solidify my opinion on him being the most over powered super hero of all time.

Doomsday wins every time.

I'm just asking, but how would DD beat someone who can go intangible. Actually how can anyone beat anybody who is intangible.

@GunGunW: Well its comics so he can't be unstoppable.

Intangiblity can be affected by certain energy sources.

All Doomsday would have to do, anyway, is corner MM and then start a fire. MM freaks out, DD pounds on him.

They already fought in the comics, and Doomsday won with little to no effort.

Manhunter lacks his weakness to fire, even in the New 52. If written correctly, J'onn should fair and equal, if not better chance against Doomsday due to far more versatile power-set.

J'onn should win, but....he doesn't.

If every superhero was written to there best, John would be among the top, alongside people like Sentry, Thor, Silver Surfer, ect.

Have you seen his power set? He's Superman with better heat vision+telepathy+intagibility+shapeshifting+a crazy healing factor. Theoretically, he shouldn't be capable of being hurt. At all.

@jeanroygrant: I agree with MM and Surfer since they're too over powered, but Thor and Sentry wouldn't be any higher than Superman or Green Lantern.

The reason MM is weak to fire is just so he is not immortal. This could go either way, but I'm leaning towards Doomsday.

I'm picking Doomsday in a close fight.
