Pre 52 for mmh
No telepathy for mmh
imo Classic Count could take MM he tagged Vision when he went invisible & took on a full roster of Super heroes.
Only problem here could be MMs speed.
Neither of these guys are gifted, skilled fighters, they both just happen to be extremely powerful.
Classic Silver Age MM actually never had Super Speed; he had strength & durability, along with the ability to "duplicate" other's powers via his shape-changing ........post Silver age but pre-52 he suddenly seemed to have it, but mostly because many assumed that Green Martians were basically "Kryptonian;lite". He did have superior reflexes, and could catch bullets at close range but never had the stamina for extended super-speed activities, other than his flight speed. If MM goes too fast in an atmosphere, he generates friction, which in turn generates heat.
Nefaria had Whirlwind's speed x 100, and could easily keep up in any case. With no telepathy to fall back upon, J'ohn loses unless he makes creative use of his shape-changing abilities. Nefaria was too dense for the Vision to phase thru, so I presume the same would be true for J'ohnn.
MM has proved he can speed Blitz in the past when taking out a trio of White Martians & imo thats wot could swing the battle in his favour here..
@dondave: No, but he has to move fast enough to avoid Nefaria's Laser Vision, which could probably kill him. That is the point with the speed questions, I think. And Nefaria has super-speed also, so avoiding it does make it a race of sorts.
Without telepathy, I'd say Nefaria. He's faster and stronger. Intangibility may prove difficult though. Does the Count have heatvision or are his eyebeams ionic?
I havent read any comics with him after the ionic state thing.
Can someone tell me if anything significant happened to him?
@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: Nefaria had Laser Vision 100x times stronger than the Living Laser, and when the Vison tried to phase through him, he was too dense and super-charged with energy for the Vision to phase thru.
