Round 1:

One day prep.

Morals on.

No Fernus the Burning or Void.

Location: Deep space.

Round 2:

Same as round 1 but bloodlust is on and morals are off.

Fernus and Void are aloud.

Every character inspired by Superman fighting? Interesting.

I will say Team 2. I don't know much about Sentry though never seen him in a Comic. The rest I have seen.

Team 1 handily Round 1, and they curbstomp Round 2. J'onn could solo. He could possibly solo Round 1 as well if he goes for TP early.

I'm gonna say team 1 because the one day prep would allow MM to come up with a plan and Superman to sundip for a day, that would make him much more powerful. And round 2 would be interesting because Fernus vs the void would be interesting, but I think team 1 would have the slight advantage because they work together more and have more chemistry.

Round 1

Martian Manhunter vs Sentry: I don't think duking it out will determine the victor, but TP and while Sentry might be good MM is far better than him and has the feats to prove it.

Superman vs Thor: This has been done to DEATH and it's never changes the fact that Superman is just too fast for Thor to truly contend with him.

Shazam vs Gladiator: This probably the closest match, but I'd still pick Billy over Glads.

Round 2

MM (Fernus) vs Sentry (Void): Stalemate. Fernus has TP off the charts, but Void has molecular manipulation, however Fernus has control over his own molecules. It's almost like asking if Hydro-Man can beat Aspen Matthews.

Superman vs Thor: Superman is still too fast.

Shazam vs Gladiator: Still a good battle, but one of them (Glads) dies at the end.

Ohh then Sentry is pretty strong. And when you put it that way then you just answered your own post, Team 1 it is if that is the case.

Pre-52 Shazam is more or less the equal of Pre-52 Superman physically, and both J'onn and Clark have enough feats in the New-52 to suggest that they would beat any of Team 2 (especially current Thor). Overall Team 1 is much faster than Team 2, and the speed difference is even more apparent in Round 2.

Round 1, can go either way IMO.

Round 2, the Void solo's...

Shazam vs Thor-Thors a little more powerful with magic but Shazam has the physical advantage so as long as he speed blitzes he takes it.

But i think your match ups made it easier for the dc squad.

I was going to match it up the way you did, but I thought that perhaps you meant for them to be matched up the way they're names are lined up in the OP so I went with that. Either way I see DC winning all or the majority of the matches.

Void is a beast and all but Fernus made mincemeat of the JLA if I'm not mistaken. Void has his "omnipotence" but I'm not buying it due to him not showing a single feat of what he "can" do.

What do Thor/Sentry/Gladiator actually do for prep?

The only prep I can envision is Superman Sundipping and then putting on his Unchained Armor that let him tank all of those Black Hole lasers/bullets.

Superman with a day to prep and without morals? Team 2 gets BFRed to the Phantom Zone.

Pre52 Shazam is a weak link with the huge vulnerability that is Thor's lightning.
J'onn's telepathy might be able to make up for that. Leaning towards the DC team anyways. Thor is awful slow.

The prep is a tough call. I'm not sure what goodies Thor has access too but Superman could let those two into the Fortress while he chills in the sun for a day.

Not at all.

1) Superman is weak to magic.
2) Thor can store the energy of ranged attacks inside Mjolnir and redirect them tenfold the power.

3) MM has a psychological fear of fire when he is not Fernus.

4) Sentry is immune to TP and it's even dangerous to try to enter his mind.

5) Sentry has some kind of Molecule Manipulation that nobody in the DC team can counter.

6) The Marvel Team has no flaws.

@realitywarper: How are you always wrong? Superman is hundreds of times faster than light. Shazam and Manhunter are right behind him. They are all stronger and more durable. They all fight in nanoseconds. Thor regularly gets tagged by street levelers. Sentry is going to lose to anyone on this team, except maybe Shazam. Supes and MM are all way above him.
