Either you are referring to Great Darkness Saga, a pre crisis amped up version, or Final Crisis which was a feat for ALE as opposed to Darkseid.

His counts of offensive telepathy is very very limited.

They are more like 50/50. Most of their encounters don't really have a clear winner, or involve various circumstances.

Really though, pretty much any character at their level could conquer modern day earth. They could cause significant damage to the planet itself if they really felt like it. Mankind just can't currently compete with that kind of power, not even with 50 years prep.

GDS contains his best feats because it's the only time pre-crisis that he cut loose and the writers had him listed as weaker than he was a millenia ago. They go out of there way to make sure that they don't step on the toe's of what Kirby had intended with the 4th world by mentioning that he is both weaker and that the conflict may or may not have been resolved.

Honestly, Darkseid should be faaaaaaaar above Superman, sundipped or not. But many writers nerf him to be on his level.
