Deathstroke beats him. In the old Simonson issues a mundane side character put a solid hurt on Malekith with a bullet. I think Slade can ramp that up and prevail.

Stop at Doom, Malekith is too strong and fast for Loki.

@risingbean: Because of his weakness to iron and Malekith got much more powerful after that. Thor stomped him in one panel during that time, but we saw Malekith matching him quite well during God of Thunder( More his other abilities of turning blood into lava and eyes into serpents) and during Thor Vol#4.

He still has his weakness to iron though and I can't see him passing Iron Man( He kinda already lost to Tony).

@laylah: It's because of that weakness that I spoke as I did. I do think he got better offensively, but unless he shook that weakness to iron, I think Slade has a damn good shot. Though I'm thinking this is Slade in his Nth Metal armor. If that isn't the case, Malekith could take him.

He was focus in using the Casket to bring Surtur to Earth, which it's very different from being ready to a fight.

@laylah: If he's phasing through metal that is definitely a great feat for him.

As per the guy who shot him in Simonson's run, sure he had surprise but he isn't anywhere near Slade's level. I figure those factors about cancel each other out.

At the end of the day, current Slade doesn't have Nth metal to my knowledge, so he'll probably lose. If he did have it, Nth metal's plot device properties would probably counter phasing. It would be an interesting fight either way.

Could see Cyborg taking him.
