Magneto vs the world

if magneto stops the world from rotating at an instant, would anyone really be able to survive? keep in mind that the earth rotates above 1000 miles an hour.

Look at what happened in Ultimatum we would survive but if he didnt put the rotation back to normal then we would die

I think there'd be a few super durable or quick thinking enough to survive. But the effects on the biosphere would be pretty terrible. It'd probably be one of those post-apocalyptic mostly destroyed world kinda situations.
