Didn't they fight in Desperado? I thought Machete was a prequel.

Is it me or does Carlos Gallardo look like Brendan Fraser in that pic?

Didn't they fight in Desperado? I thought Machete was a prequel.

It was a different character played by Danny Trejo in Desperado, named Navajas ("Blades" in spanish). Machete is a different character that happens to be played by the same actor and exist in the same universe.

@joygirl: Thank you ma'am. They looked practically identical, but I figured as much when I thought about it. Hmm, maybe their related.

That's Antonio Banderas not Carlos

Nice battle, @joygirl.

Right, so then. El Mariachi takes this by a teensy margin - in fact, it is leaning towards 50/50. Mariachi seems to have better realistic combat feats, but Machete in a rage is unstoppable. Might come back to this one...

El Mariachi takes it. He had incredible agility, marksmanship while in motion and under-fire, and strength. He supported himself and his womans bodyweight with one arm while hanging from a ledge. He is younger, faster, and too good a shot from a distance, to have to worry about Machete getting in close. Especially if he sees Trejo first.

Bump -- we need some Machete lovers in here.

This would be a good fight. I think Machete would kill this pendejo though. Machete gutted a baboso with a set of keys ffs. And Machete is no stranger to using guns himself.
