Mace Windu and team Vs. Sith Emperor Vitiate

So Mace Windu backed up by Agen Kolar, Saesee Tinn, and Kit Fisto have arrived at Palpatine's office, intending to place the Chancellor under arrest. But when they arrive, they find not Palpatine waiting for them, but a different Sith Emperor. A figure cloaked in black robes with a hood pulled up over his face. Mace assumes him to be Palpatine, and calls out: "In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic...you're under arrest Chancellor"

The cloaked figure rises, and Mace sees how his eyes are as black as a void.

"I will destroy you all"

And with that the battle begins. Who wins?

LOL at this setting.

Honestly, if Essence Transfer is allowed, there's no way team 1 can win.

Vitiate is easily more powerful in Force combat, but in saber combat he just...... it's Aunt May vs. Odin.

What, you don't like my writing?

Then I won't allow essence transfer, although I am curious to know what it entails and how the Hero of Tython was able to resist it (I haven't done the Jedi Knight's story)

I am not touching this thread. It is inevitably going places I do not want to return to.

No offense; it's not you, but Mace fanboys. I don't want to return to the inevitable "but he beat Palpatine!" arguments.

@JediXMan: And here I thought those had long since been discredited. I should know, I am one of the Mace Windu fanboys who asked about that and subsequently got set straight.

There are some lingering stragglers that are still set in their ways.

No, it's just funny.

HoT wasn't targeted in the first place. Vitiate brought the temple down, thinking HoT would die as well, while his essence fled.

@ShootingNova: Right, right, but didn't the Hero of Tython then confront and fight the Emperor directly? Why didn't the Emperor target him then with Essence Transfer?

And for the record, I do find it kind of amusing that the Hero of Tython's acronym is "Hot"

@shroudofsorrow: LOL. I could call him HoC if you want, since he was called the "Hero of Coruscant also".

I just told you, Vitiate used TK and brought the temple down, thinking HoT died, and then fled. Remember he does have profuse fear when it comes to death, which includes failing Essence Transfer. He was probably afraid of failing, granted HoT's willpower. It should also be noted Vitiate was weakened at that point.

Actually, Vitiate gets a 6-7/10 at best. As soon as one of the Jedi gets to use his saber on him, Vitiate gets pummeled.
