Luther Strode vs New 52 Batman

Luther Strode use to be awesome, but now severely weaker due to his Writer statements. So, with that said, how does he compare to these characters now. What level is Strode at :/

He's still the same character. If he was cool before....he's still cool now. Nothing his writer says changes any of that. Deciding how much you like a character based on how well they can do in the battle forum is idiotic.

Also, I've never called you out for supporting Strode. I know very little of him.

He still can possibly one-shot Batman. Not even a fair match.

Some people are way overreacting to those tweets. It doesn't change what Strode has been shown to do on-panel, just puts those feats into a slightly different perspective.

According to the Idiot Justin Jordan, Luther is a combination of Karnak+Sabertooth+Spidey Sense = Luther. So he is leagues better than he said in another Tweet LAMO

I didn't think anyone ever thought Strode could actually lift a car over his head. His power comes more from powerful, quick impact strikes, and not so much lifting strength. The dodging the bullet point blank statement seems silly though, as The Librarian does it with a smile on his face, and Strode was supposed to be further then the Librarian with his abilities. I don't think this has any impact on how most people already viewed Strode.

@k4tzm4n Sorry for not being more clear I meant this bit in particular "@kmellon@TraddMoore (My actual position is that, say, Luther could take Batman in a fair fight. But Batman never fights fair)" I took that to mean the he thinks Batman would ultimately triumph, he could have been joking and honestly my post was meant to be more for fun than anything else.

My opion is Luther would still take Batman out, it would be a good fight compared to the normal humans he is used to shredding, but I just feel like Luther is too much of a beast for Batman without prep, it isn't just being 2x peak human, it's the precog/body reading, the healing factor and the the fact that he is durable enough to soak gunfire on top of that, Batman is outclassed here in every area except skill, but even with skill we have seen how Batman does against Cass, who has body reading ability, it won't be enough of an edge in a random encounter to overcome the gap in physicals, every strike Luther throws is a deadly one, getting tagged even once is really bad for Batman here.
