Fight takes place in clear field.

They start 20 feet apart

No one is blood lusted

No BFR

No outside help

Win by KO or Kill.

Current versions of both, who wins and why?

Who wins and why?

From what I've seen Luffy and Luther aren't even in the same league, hell I don't even think they're playing the same game.

Severe mismatch. Luther isn't quite in Luffy's league.

Pretty sure even Pre-Timeskip Luffy could beat Strode. Current Luffy absolutely slaughters him.

@nelomaxwell: Predict? Lol Luther couldn't even SEE Luffy.

Don't even get me started about Gear Second.

Man its just my opinion. Luffy acts far too stupid and childish for me to consider him badass.

@nelomaxwell: Why you didn't called me? Im in the all OP's threads call outs. :( Anyway, Luffy in a stomp of mismatching proportions. Luther is a high end street leveler who could pull a good fight against Wrath from FMA... But Luffy could be considered high-mid tier IMO.

#26 Posted by ThatGuyWithHeadPhones (10874 posts) - - Show Bio

Doesn't Luther primarily uses his fist in fights cuz if soo this is a terrible mismatch.

The little boy in sandles with an obscure anime power set nobody has heard of wins.

being made out of rubber(stretching) is obscure now ?

Nah, mainly because his higly hypersonic and busts ships effortlessly, can take bullets and ricochet them as well as immune to blunt force... his body can become harder than steel as well as having Precognition which allows him to swiftly and gracefully dodge hundreds and hundreds of bullets without trouble at all. He has some degree of TP which allows him to KO people whose will power is below his. He can also hit elemental beings who are immune to physical attacks.

No, despite what some may think Luffy and quite different from MR. Fantastic in a sense that he don't stretch per say, he's made out of rubber. Think of it like a rubber band if you pull a rubber back far and let it go it'll hurt. Now make it a fist that can technically stretch indifferently so he can stretch his fist back as far back and gain momentum to make it hurt ...ALOT.

So he's basically everything Luther is but made of rubber, has TP, and has much better stats? Makes sense. I hope people aren't going to keep overrating Luther like this.

Hah, that's kinda cool. Does he have a rubber band ball move?

@ghostravage: It's weird.. Luthers art is almost like manga in colour. Like the scenes of him blitzing people. It must make people think he's got an identical power set to some anime characters but in reality, he isn't.

Maybe its a common misconception, but the difference between tiers its as great as Spider Man vs Hulk.

I know right. Spider-Man is so much faster than Hulk. He could just punch him into the sun.

@i_like_swords: Lollipops! Spider-Man said he would harm himself less punching a thick brick wall than punching Hulk. ;)

@ghostravage: I saw a scan of Spider-Man kicking Darth Vaders lightsaber, then pouring water on it and putting it out. Then he put a web on his respirator and let him suffocate to death. He's no joke.

Did you know Spider Man beat Hulk by putting a cement truck on him even though Hulk picks high military tanks and move them like paper fans without effort? Yeah, that powerful is Spider-Man's plot manipulation.
