Why is Luffy nerfed?

Zoro wins even if Luffy has gear 4

Zoro has shown to be the most durable in the straw hats, and every time Luffy and Zoro fought each other, they where equal.

Zoro in new world is looking like an animal, literally no challenges in new world except Fujitora, literally destroying everyone in his path.

Hmmmm. Base Luffy was the one that fought Doffy before he entered gear 4 mode, no? Ok, Luffy can use gears up to the 2nd. Other than the accepted fact that it increases his speed and strength, are there enough showings of how much gear 1 and 2 enhance his physical stats post-time skip? I thought he incorporates those techniques as part of his basic fighting style, with his haki and upgraded raw stats.

They're equal, Zoro could kill Luffy if it came to it, and Luffy could kill Zoro. They wouldn't though.

@hatemalingsia: I'm still saying Zoro. Literally nothing has pushed him since the time skip save needing to rush back to the other end of the city. Unless gear 4th shows something really gamebreaking of course.

Ok, but Zoro hasn't faced Doflamingo like Luffy and Sanji have. Hes basically the only villain in Dressrosa that the Monster Trio have to fear. So of course he hasn't been pushed.

• Luffy's fight with Monet was inconclusive, he ended up falling through the floor. If it had continued Luffy would have destroyed her easy. That fight lasting as long as it did is blatant PIS, everyone knows that. Also you're using a character who is probably weaker than Franky, Robin, and Brook as a way to gauge the difference between Zoro and Luffy? Try again
• How on earth can you say Luffy couldn't fight Fujitora? First of all nothing Fujitora has done up to this point implies he can keep up with Luffy's Gear Second speed. Second of all GEAR FOURTH.
• Not only are you implying that Luffy couldn't fight Fujitora you're also implying that Doflamingo is far weaker than him. Which definitely isn't true.

@strictlyanime: From what Zoro has shown he can take on Doffy as well if not better than Luffy. As for Sanji fighting him... well, of the big 3 sanji seems to be the black sheep in power. He has versatility of course, flying and moving under water easily, but that's pretty much it. I mean Zoro casually sliced a galleon as he woke up, sanji hasn't shown the power to do any of that.

The fact Luffy has been pushed, before Doffy even, and Zoro has not yet save needing to be flung across the city puts his a notch higher than Luffy. Top three point I can think of are the dragon, Monet and umm... the octopus guy.

@leo-343: Don't make up excuses. Luffy needed to use max power to fight fodders, whereas Zoro trashes the same characters while flexing his muscles. Luffy needs gear 2 to beat everybody who's not a fodder from Paradise

Luffy with gear forth. Honestly Zoroaster seems more impressive but he could not beat Doffy probably would put up a better fight than Luffy or Law but he can't put him down. While Luffy with gear fourth can with brute force and a hype level defense that seems like big trouble. Zoro probably couldn't chop Luffy up like pica and would receive several attacks until he can't stand.

zoro should win by eventually cutting luffy but it wont be easy they have always been more or less equal but if they fought until there was a clear loser in the manga zoro would probably lose or tie.

Base Luffy vs Zoro is fair fight.
G4 Luffy would curbstomp Zoro.
G2 Luffy would blitz Zoro.

After all the damage he took from Laws machinations I'm surprised that base Luffy cant beat him. He is like... Dying even without Luffy.
