Luffy gets dropped into the marvel universe
Depending which version of Luffy.Luffy might stop at Round 4 due to prep.Luffy should really should stop at Round 8.
Stops at Abomination or clears.

Oops, forgot about Super Skroll, yah, stops at 8 lol
@hart7668: @homicidalmaniac: @thitiki: @dondave: @starrk01: @the_legendary_supersaiyan_hulk: This is current luffy btw.
I can't see Luffy beating anyone who fights the Hulk on a regular basis, so stop at 7,
Current abom is a joke though. He seems to get oneshotted alot.
Honestly Otto might be the biggest threat here.
He isn't beating Super Skrull
How is Super Skrull expected to hurt Luffy?
I'm surprised no one took my bait with me saying that he stops at Sabretooth....
Such a claim is really too ridiculous for me to even care.
Stops at Carnage.
You wish.
@nickzambuto: Is Luffy really that powerful? Not even Senty could put him down permanently. Fogive my One Piece ignorance.
Stops at Sabretooth.
Lol no mate.
EDIT! NOOOOO I DID FALL FOR IT! IM A F*CKING FISH!

Sentry ripped Carnage in half and threw him into space. That sounds like a "win" to me, just because the Symbiote was just barely able to regenerate doesn't put Carnage on Sentry's level.
Carnage is a 60 tonner who's a bit faster than Spider-Man and has a few miscellaneous abilities. Luffy is a multi-thousand tonner who can fight faster than lightning.
Stops at Sabretooth.
Lol no mate.

SOMEONE FELL FOR IT!
That is pretty hilarious.
@nickzambuto: Sounds pretty damn OP to me. I don't understand why they over do it in anime.

Well the abbreviation of One Piece is OP after all :D
But I wouldn't say it's over done. That just happens to be the power level of One Piece, it's a mid tier universe. Not everyone has to be street level. Superman would solo the One Piece verse in about an instant, but is he over done or is that just the character's power level?
@nickzambuto: Sounds pretty damn OP to me. I don't understand why they over do it in anime.
They have to overdo it to since they are made from the legacy of dragonball z. Yep I said it.
@nickzambuto: since when the hell is luffy a multi thousand toner?
Luffy is a multi-thousand tonner who can fight faster than lightning.
Embellishing Luffy's stats there...

There seem to be two types of One Piece fans.
The ones, like me, who think Luffy and Co. are stupidly powerful and can toss around mountains and outrace lightning.
And then those who think Luffy and Co. are mid-hundred tonners with supersonic fighting speed.
I think the feats speak for themselves. Kalifa timed lightning against Nami yet the rest of CP9 couldn't even track Luffy in Second Gear. And then there's crazy crap like this
You are NOT telling me that punching Crocodile through bedrock hundreds of feet into the air, lifting up buildings and rupturing an entire city block is a hundred ton feat.
@nickzambuto: The thing is all that proves is that luffy is a city block buster. A feat for a multi hundred tonner would involve said person actually lifting something that weighs more than 200+ tons. Toner means their actual strength level. For example goku most likely has the capacity to be a planet buster, however he has no where near the strength to lift the planet.

Striking strength is way more important in a fight though, unless your strategy depends on lifting your opponent up super well. I don't know how much Luffy can lift, but I know he can punch way harder than most characters in the class 100 category.
@nickzambuto: Luffy has few hundred ton lifting feats of gauging/scaling. Multi-thousand ton lifting requires quantifiable evidence.
Lot of scaling an inconsistencies on the faster than lightning claim. Without some clear indication Luffy can perceive lightning in motion there is no base.
@nickzambuto: Striking power is more important. Here is another example superman is class 100+ yet flash and zoom are able to hit as hard as him simply because of the velocity of their punches. And flash/zoom aren't class 100. And I don't know of luffy could punch harder than most class 100s. Who are class 100 in your opinion?
@mr_ingenuity: Any manga scans of him doing these feats?
@trueking95: Lifting a bolder & throwing it. Considering the landscape the bolder is taller than the trees.

When was the last time someone won a fight by lifting things? Does Superman beat Zod by lifting him in the air and then Zod is just like "oh sh!t you got me!"? No, Superman punches the crap out of him.
I honestly and truly could not care less about how much weight Luffy can lift. What matters is that his punches are far and above most characters in the class 100 range. So even if the Thing can bench more than Luffy, who cares. Let me know when Thing is able to smash in a giant's face with one punch.
Striking strength is what matters. I use the phrase "multithousand tonner" because regardless of whether Luffy can lift that much, he still operates at that level with his strikes.
I think you're being a bit of a stickler about the lightning thing. It's very simple.
- Kalifa reacted to a bolt of lightning.
- Blueno was shown to have a higher power level than her.
- Blueno can't react to Luffy.
- Ergo Kalifa wouldn't be able to react to Luffy.
- Ergo Luffy's Jet Pistol is faster than a bolt of lightning.
Yeah sure there's a bit of power scaling in there, but nothing that can't be forgiven especially when it is directly shown on screen that Blueno is more powerful than Kalifa. It's not like I'm just going "well uhh I THINK he's stronger than her!"
And why is it inconsistent? Let me break down how I see the progression of One Piece's speed.
East Blue - Luffy is already reacting to bullets and casually deflecting canon balls, that makes him supersonic. Reacting to Kuro's Shakushi and grabbing hold of him in the middle of it makes him hypersonic.
Alabasta - Zoro has multiple hypersonic movement feats against Baroque Works and Luffy stalemated him without getting cut once. By defeating Crocodile we know he has become much stronger than before. Luffy is hypersonic+.
Sky Island - Bellamy was bouncing fast enough that it appeared as if he was everywhere in the town at once. You can't tell me that isn't massively hypersonic, a bullet is about mach 1 and would get from one side to the other in about 1 second, but Bellamy looked to be EVERYWHERE, yet that speed was nothing to Luffy. Additionally Enel, the guy made of lightning could not dodge Luffy's attacks. Luffy is massively hypersonic.
Ennies Lobby - Luffy's base strength on it's own has grown considerably since Skypia, and Gear Second adds to that even further. I don't think a lightning punch is out of the question.

Are we having some kind of miscommunication here? What you just said about Flash and Zoom is exactly my point. I don't care about Luffy's lifting strength, his striking strength is what matters.
Just FTR the boulder Luffy threw was about 50 feet high IIRC, and he used it to destroy a mountain. Now consider the fact that Luffy's rubber properties add extra momentum to his strikes, and the fact that most of his techniques revolve around a snap-back motion like a rubber band, and his strikes are going to be way more powerful than what he can lift.
Luffy is punching outside of his weight class.
@nickzambuto: I agree striking force is more important in most situations. However when referring to class strength, it refers to their actual strength. When calculating striking power 3 things count:actual strength, mass of fist and speed of fist. Luffy punches fast which gives his punches more striking power but doesn't give him more strength.
@nickzambuto: Sounds pretty damn OP to me. I don't understand why they over do it in anime.
They have to overdo it to since they are made from the legacy of dragonball z. Yep I said it.
Same with Toriko. They'll never beat DBZ though.

Then we completely agree about everything. I used the phrase "multithousand tonner" because regardless of whether Luffy can lift that much, that is the level he operates at. Saying he's a multithousand tonner is a lot simpler and more clear than going over his striking abilities.
When was the last time someone won a fight by lifting things? Does Superman beat Zod by lifting him in the air and then Zod is just like "oh sh!t you got me!"? No, Superman punches the crap out of him.

Off topic.
Striking strength is what matters. I use the phrase "multithousand tonner" because regardless of whether Luffy can lift that much, he still operates at that level with his strikes.
What character did you scale Luffy up to that would allow him to replicate those feats? Because Little Garden giants never lifted anything that heavy overhead. Also luffy has yet to replicate their striking feat (end of arc).
So the phrase is still inaccurate.
I think you're being a bit of a stickler about the lightning thing. It's very simple.

Excuse me for needing specifics after you claiming a specific act. Your power scaling without even a writer's quote. You've conceded that's what you're doing.
Luffy is a multi-thousand tonner who can fight faster than lightning.
Also it's never been established that Nami could produce lightning but her attacks were made of electricity.
And why is it inconsistent? Let me break down how I see the progression of One Piece's speed.

Per gears Luffy only has reaction time to his list of feats. Hypersonic speed is out of the question overblown before enies lobby.
Enel is confirmed to be lightning by Oda but it's never shown if he can react that those speeds. So add in what Enel consistently did I wouldn't put him over super sonic in reaction.
Off topic.
It's not off topic. I've explained it multiple times now, I said Luffy was a multithousand tonner not because he can lift that much, but because that is the level at which he operates. The Thing has lifted skyscrapers but Luffy still hits way harder than him.
That is my entire point. In a fight, Luffy is a thousand ton tier character. In a weight lifting competition, ehh I dunno. But name a character who has lifted 1,000 - 10,000 tons, I guarantee you said character would have an even fight with Luffy (assuming speed and other factors are likewise even)
Excuse me for needing specifics after you claiming a specific act. Your power scaling without even a writer's quote. You've conceded that's what you're doing.
Kalifa's power level is 630. Blueno's is 820, nearly 200 points her superior. I figured you'd recall this scene.
Also it's never been established that Nami could produce lightning but her attacks were made of electricity.
Nah, it's lightning. Her schtick is weather manipulation, using heat and cool waves to produce the desired effect, manipulating pressure, the thing came out of a cloud so I'm pretty sure it's lightning.
Per gears Luffy only has reaction time to his list of feats.
What about Bellamy?
