Lord of the Rings vs Game of Thrones (Read OP)

These will be individual battles between warriors from both series. All battles will take place on Weather Top.

1st battle: Azog the Defiler vs the Mountain. Mountain gets standard sword and armor, and Azog gets chain mace and arm sword and armor from Battle of Five Armies

2nd battle: Bard vs Robert Stark, no bow and arrows for Bard

3rd battle: Aragorn vs Jaime Lannister

4th battle: Legolas vs Cal Drago, both with standard daggars, no bow and arrows for Legolas.

5th battle: Gimli vs the Mountain

6th battle: Eomer vs the Hound

7th battle: Thorin vs Ned Stark

8th battle: The Fellowship vs 50 White Walkers

9th battle: Bard vs Three Dragons, bow and arrows for Bard

10th battle: Mountain Trolls vs Giants, three on each side and trolls from Lord of the Rings.

1st battle: Azog the Defiler vs the Mountain - Much faster and likely a bit stronger. Keep in mind Azog was swatting away groups of dwarves who typically weigh as much as a man and were in full armor. Mountain's edge comes in only with his thick armor, which can be overcome.

2nd battle: Bard vs Robert Stark - Bard has almost no straight combat feats.

3rd battle: Aragorn vs Jaime Lannister - Aragorn is a legit superhuman. He has enough stamina for fight for days on end, reflexes comparable to an elf, and strength enough to counter blows from full sized, armored trolls.

4th battle: Legolas vs Cal Drago - Hilariously one sided. Legolas can move to draw his bow faster than the human eye can see and has ridiculous levels of agility on top of having hundreds, if not thousands of years more experience than Drogo. He's also a fair bit physically stronger. And has better stamina. Just... Better everything.

5th battle: Gimli vs the Mountain - Gimli is a much more skilled fighter than the Mountain. He also has vastly superior stamina and is use to fighting opponents much larger than himself. Larger than the Mountain, too.

6th battle: Eomer vs the Hound - I can't recall any outstanding combat feats for Eomer.

7th battle: Thorin vs Ned Stark - Dwarves are generally better fighters than men, and Ned wasn't even that exceptional of a fighter. Thorin is.

8th battle: The Fellowship vs 50 White Walkers - Not even a challenge. Any one of them could possibly solo with the exception of the hobbits.

9th battle: Bard vs Three Dragons - Bard only killed Smaug because Smaug had a built in self destruct button for the sake of the story. GoT dragons are lacking this.

10th battle: Mountain Trolls vs Giants - Depends on their equipment.

Other than the last 3 battles, LotR sweeps. Higher physical stats and skills potential, they cut through dozens of Orc or Uruk fodders with ease.

Round 8: Team 2.

Round 9: Team.

Round 10: What giants?

How can you say Gimli fought opponents much larger than himself, but ignore the fact Eomer rode against Mumakil at Pelennor Fields and came out victorious? Clearly Eomer also fought opponents much larger than himself. Like Aragorn, like Gimli, like Legolas, Eomer was a skilled fighter and probably one of the most skilled riders in ME, definitely a better rider than anyone in GoT. He was a king, a commander who rode into battle headfirst outnumbered and came out on top. The Hound was scared of fire and lost to Brienne of Tarth. Pretty sure Eomer takes this easily.

2nd battle: Bard vs Robert Stark - Bard curbstomps

3rd battle: Aragorn vs Jaime Lannister - Jaime wins in a good fight

4th battle: Legolas vs Chal Drago - Legolas punches him out

5th battle: Gimli vs the Mountain - Gimli

6th battle: Eomer vs the Hound - Eomer

7th battle: Thorin vs Ned Stark - Thorin curbstomps.

8th battle: The Fellowship vs 50 White Walkers - They win against zombies, get stomped against ugly dudes who cant die without Dragon glass.

9th battle: Bard vs Three Dragons, bow and arrows for Bard - Dragons

10th battle: Mountain Trolls vs Giants, three on each side and trolls from Lord of the Rings. - Trolls

All rounds go to Lord of the Rings crew except last 2 rounds.

LoTR side is more experienced and battle hardened.

They fight againts stronger foes all the time , stronger than regular humans anyway. GoT is more realistic than LoTR so even when in war , they are fighting 1v1 or 2v1 max and tire out quickly.

In LoTR they literraly dive into at least 5 enemies and still crush them with ease then continue fighting againts larger groups.

2. I assume that Robert is Robb. Bard wins both.
3. Aragorn wins both.
4. Legolas wins both.
5. Movie versions- Gimli, book versions are too hard to call just like that.
6. Sandor wins both.
7. movie versions - could go either way, book versions - Ned.
8. The Fellowship both versions.
9. Dragons wins both.
10. Movie versions - trolls, book version not sure. Probably either way.
