Loki and Blackheart have decided to Kill The Green Lanterns and harnest their power but they realize they will be out numbered so they decide to take over the minds of some Brutes to aid them in this Battle. Their Teammates, Sentry, WorldBreakerHulk Rulk, Blue Marvel, Beta Ray Bill, Loki and Blackheart have enhanced themselves physically incase they need to fight as well. However The Guardians have warn the Green Lanterns about the situation so they can prepare.

No they can't. Not at all in fact. Loki doesn't have an answer for speed blitz and his illusions can be handled by AOE attacks and his matter manipulation can be handled. Blackheart just hasn't been a big deal most of the time from what I hear.

Team 1

Loki can turn intangible and act faster than lightning and can survive without a body. He's also dealt with Surfer at full blitz. AoE attacks can't even hurt him and his matter manip affects skyfathers so...nah. Blackheart took over hell, has stomped Ghost Rider, and even had the advantage over the likes of Hellstrom, Dr. Strange, a reality warper, the Fantastic 4, and Red Hulk Ghost Rider Venom (all combined into one person). He'd stomp too.

Team 1 stomps.

Cool. Lanterns are far faster than lightning so that's not helping him. Surviving without a body is nice and all, but if he loses his it still counts as a loss.

He's also dealt with Surfer at full blitz.

A skyfather who had specifically dropped his magical shields. Not sure how that's a battle applicable feat. Even rookie green lanterns can make planets with matter manip, which seems like an infinitely more impressive feat.

People overall inferior to this team of lanterns even as a whole. This doesn't change that the lanterns are far more versatile, powerful enough to harm him, and capable of matching him collectively.

That said, the more I think about this the more I lean toward team 1.

@comicsrulebutdbzdoes2: I get the notion, but to be honest, Mephisto's feats generally aren't all that impressive. His showing against Galactus is by leaps, bounds, and miles his best showing, and vastly inconsistent given he's been challenged and downright defeated by vastly less powerful being in his OWN realm.

And "skyfather" is rather something of a title, anyway. Indicative of lording over a particular pantheon.

And keeping with the 'Ganthet example', he's been stated as having power that " The Spectre was nothing compared to"(and prompted Parallax to possess, and in turn be defeated by the Green Lanterns). Just to exemplify why statements are subject to scrutiny, haha.

1. No, not really. they have to 'activate' their speed, they don't naturally 100% of the time move faster than lightning. Also....if Loki's faster than lightning, and they're faster than lightning....makes them close to the same speed. Plus you didn't counter his intangibility at all. And he can still fight without his body, so it's not a loss.

2. Surfer is waaaaaaaaay faster than the Lanterns, claiming anything else is just ignorant.

3. He's taken attacks from Surtur (with a galaxy+ busting weapon) just fine, same with Thor, spells from powerful sorcerers that had the backing of an entire dimensions, etc. Lanterns aren't doing anything. Plus he can go intangible.

4. No. Skyfather>>>planet. And lanterns don't matter manip, they make constructs. One can be stopped by energy absorption, matter manip can't.

5. Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Red Hulk Ghost Rider Venom, Reality warpers, AND Hell >>>Green Lanterns. And no, GL's can't even hurt Blacheart. He too can go intangible and even skyfather level Mephisto was unable to put down Blackheart in Mephisto's own realm. Blacheart can literally regen from absolutely nothing. He can also attack souls and there's nothing they can do about it.
