Lobo's in the same strength class as Superman, so I don't think Adam's going to outmuscle him.

The biggest argument against Lobo is that people consider him "slow." That doesn't matter here because even -if- Adam is faster, he can't speedblitz as per the OP.

Even if Adam could speed blitz Lobo he would still lose. Adam can barely stand toe to toe with Superman, and he is borderline caricature idol cut out at this point, pathetic. Lobo however can go toe to toe with Superman.

Although, now that I think of it, it would also depend on which Lobo shows up, as usual with DCs horrid writing Lobos powers have been all over the place...but I will just go with the strongest version of Lobo and Adam.

Superman would most likely beat Lobo in a fight because he has many abilities like flight, heat vision, speed etc, but Lobo is physicaly stronger and can heal faster.

Lobo has bested Superman several times before. Supes has never had an answer for the Czarnian. A couple of those fights were when Lobo was drunk and hardly at his best.

The only time i can recall Supes beating Lobo was when he was possessed.

@jeanroygrant: They're peers in physical strength, and that's me being generous to Superman. Robin III has stated that a full-grown Lobo is in Superman's strength class, and Starman (Will Peyton) wondered if Lobo was stronger than Superman after getting punched by him. Lobo's done better against Despero than Superman has.

How many toptiers does Lobo have to thrash to be considered legit?

Green Lantern?

Captain Marvel?

Martian Manhunter?

That said, Superman's "hard" durability is much better, and Lobo's only beaten him convincingly once. But the rest is true.

If I was absolutely cornered into picking who would win in a battle legitly I would say lobo. If I had a gun to my head and was asked I would say superman because he is a DC franchise character and DC won't let him lose to someone like Lobo, IMO.

As others have said, he couldn't keep Lobo down. He'd try, but Lobo would keep coming back, with a grin of his face each time as he would put Black Adam down in a bloddy mess.

Hell, that scan with Lobo pounding on Superman was before Lobo couldn't die. Only time that Superman beat Lobo was when Superman was possesed. That's it.

lobo if he can throw stars around would break adam in half even if he was on par with supes which he isn't this would be a stomp.
