Morals off.

DP has his healing factor. Wolverine has adamantium.

Slade has his 2 swords, 2 daggers, his armor, a machine gun with 5 clips of hollow point bullets, and his pistol with 5 clips of hollow point bullets.

Deadpool has 2 adamantium katanas, a machine gun with 5 clips, and 5 concussion grenades.

I apologize for the amount of Liefeld art here, but the two pictures are obviously really similar so I just thought that was kinda cool.

Fight in the Canadian Rockies, in an alpine forest near a lake.

Start 100 yards apart.

Win by KO, incapacitation, or death.

Team 1 easily....This is pretty much a stomp.

How'd their fight even conclude? I gave the first two issues a shot but just couldn't justify buying the conclusion. I flipped through it in the store and it looked like Slade was making Lobo's healing factor kick in... but issues earlier he was walking though laser cannon fire like it was nothing?

Despite Liefeld's best efforts, Team 1 stomps.

@capfan80: Liefeld puts forth little to no effort in his art and writing... His art has gotten slightly better, only because nowadays the inking and coloring is better. The last few issues of Deathstroke have been pretty pathetic.

Lobo sucked as a character before Lefield.

He was normalized somewhat if anything in New 52 and made into a character you no longer have to be on acid to appreciate whence reading.

Team one wins based off the fact this is still Lobo we're talking about (despite). But writers need to decide whether Lobo is a psychedelic Silver Surfer type dude or Wolverine level intergalactic bounty hunter type dude. I think the latter might prove more interesting for a change ... who knows.

team 1 stomps. havent seen him in the new 52 but, wasnt he a superman villian before and had a strength and durability level on par with supes

I agree on Liefeld ... but I think Lobo was a train wreck long before Liefeld came along.

@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia: I was liking Deathstroke and Grifter until Liefeld started doing the art and even the writing on Deathstroke. Aquaman is actually good, as is Batman, Dark Knight, Detective Comics, Batman and Robin, and Nightwing.

Team 1. ...............We have to acknowledge that Deathstroke is the baddest low mid tier on the planet.

Slade could take down both wolverine and deadpool individually, but not both at once. The fight would come down to Lobo. If it is the new 52 lobo then team 2 wins but if it is the lobo before the new 52 then team 1 dominates.

I agree. The new 52 is ruining DC. I'm not saying the new 52 is bad, it's good and I enjoy reading it but it isn't even close to being as good as the old ones.

Lobo solos... I mean, the dude hangs with Superman. He can beat two guys who are (arguably) only just above street level.

I don't think so, but maybe. I think that when Deathstroke fought Lobo he was weakened but in general he isn't. He worked for Trigon in Trigon's Villain's Month issue so I'd assume he's pretty powerful. Then again I might be wrong.
