Isn't Classic Strange equal to Living Tribunal? If he is equal to him, then how mere presence of Chthon was enough to kill Strange?

I believe pre-retcon beyonder was .....

There can be no random encounter for beings of that level, and I believe that the concept of neutral dimension couldn't work either: some of those beings are the embodiment of their own reality and can not exist outside of their home universe.

Now, we could imagine them meeting on the mystic plane, and then I must say that it entirely depends on who is writing, because along the years, the writers (sometimes even the same writer) have constantly been playing with those respective entities' power level to keep the readers and fans off guard and entertained.

I am afraid there is rational answer to this question this time.

Now, I personally would prefer the tribunal to win because I like his looks and also because deciding on what should triumph over what is by essence his job.

Classic Strange is no where close to The Living Tribunal.

There is something a need to know: Alot of people say that certain beings while in there realm canot be beaten, yet people say that the Living Tibunal governs or police the Marvel Universe or whatever, so...should he be able to overpower beings even in there own realm? i'm mean realm/plane/reality whatever its still all located IN the Marvel Universe right?

Living Tribunal stomps.

LT wins

@niBBit:

Take a look at it this way. Eternity is supreme in Earth 616. He is the embodiment of Earth 616. LT is still way above him. For this reason LT stomps everyone.

NO one below the LT in any amount of numbers can beat the him. he was given jurisdiction of the entire multiverse by TOAA..... its not really theor place to win

LT Stomps

LT was unaffected by the IG,while IIRC most of these guys weren't able to do anything to it.Also the whole "supervisor" of the multiverse should give a clue about who wins.

Living Tribunal takes this.

LT farts and blows up the multiverse they're fighting in; killing the team in the process.
