Tough Call, in terms of martial skill? Kang should be a significantly better fighter than everyone else in Tekken, as his power and skill rivals and bests Gods and villains with 10,000+ years of fighting experience, if their energy and power were all the same, Liu Kang should kick everyone around without a problem.

In terms of raw physical power? Definitely Tekken. People in MK seem to fall from high places and get killed, where as guys like Heihachi tank being tossed into the horizon and landing on cement and bricks...it only upsets them lol...I can see the MK guys literally splattering all over the ground if that happened. Also, Jin and Lars can dodge bullets with ease and Kaz survived being dropped into a volcano for cripes sake.

Lie Kang can beat Superman, he wins.

To answer/correct your post, "Liu beat an Elder God and Shao Kahn, who is god-like, in Mortal Kombat, not to mention Shang Tsung." And Jin has proven to be the strongest of the Mishima's on multiple occasions, and (I think) his crowning achievement was defeating True Ogre.

In the end Jin is a brawler with great skill, power, and endurance, but his MO is to go through people. Liu has arguable more skill, speed, striking power, and experience, and his MO is to adapt and use his opponent's strength against them. Liu can/would pick Jin apart. His speed, skill, and experience would carry him through...until Devil Jin appeared...

Actually i retract my opinion i think this is a stalemate, Liu is a beast in his Dragon Form.

Jin will destroy him. He is much stronger and durable at base. Now if they transform then Jin can still win if he flies up and spams his beams.

Kang is beast, however his feats don't trump Jin's. Orge was the incarnation of the fighting spirit. This is on part with Kang fighting Goes. The dragon form is beast as hell. However, comparatively, Devil Jin is not only stronger and faster but the body type is far more suited to fighting than the Dragon form.

More over, the durability is a massive difference in this. Even if Kang could out fight him, could he KO him given that's what the WIn condition is. People in Tekken, especially in Jin's family, hit extremely hard. Jin took bullets to the chest. Kazuya took a valcano. heihachi took the multiple Jake explosions and healed over time and that's without the devil gene. Great as he is, a sword though the chest would Kill Lui Kang. Jin has far too many advantages to lose a sparring match.

Fighting Skill = Lui

Power = Jin

Speed = Even

Projectile = Jin (Steady laser > Fire Ball.)

Durability = Jin

Transformation advantage = Jin (Added flight and more powerful Beams, without losing basic fight skills.)

Jin takes this his base form is deadly especially since T5 he beat Jinpachi without using his devil side. And from the looks of it he can control it more in Tekken 6. He beat both Kazuya, and Heihachi one after the other plus he still was in control even with some of his devil form being present.The durability for Tekken characters is pretty insane. Going into Devil Jin would just be a sad match for Liu Kang.

Jin Kazama comes from a Line of Martial arts Masters. jinpachi, heihachi, Kazyua. Jun.That's for one. Why this is important, is he has beaten them all. (Even Jun if you consider tag, but it's not official.) More over, just the three above have proven much harder to kill than Lui Kang(I.E. having ones next snapped) Where as Heihachi has fallen from cliffs and taken point blank explosions with only minor damage. So has kazuya and the volcano explosion wasn't enough to destroy his body. My point in saying this is, Kang does not fight people with such how damage output or resistance. Even the Gods of MK are only such due to vash powers(Lightning, Wind, Fire, teleporting) and naturally long life. Not because they are completely resistant to physical damage or near omni-potent.

Next, True Oger was the incarnation of the fighting spirit. This was a spiritual being who only fought for as long as it was around. This is right up there with Kang fighting anyone of those characters with longer lives that had fought for thousands of years. While, not a god of any sort, the same could be said for mokujin. And animated puppet, that had absorbed, all the knowledge ever put into it about fighting.

Lastly, the King of Iron Fist, is not so different from the MK tournament. It steal brings all the most powerful fighters together, MK just has them from different realms as well. So, there is no really support to say that Kang has fought and defeated better fighters than Jin.

Lui Kang is really good.. hes been the champion of mk for most of the games. his skills are sublime. However, to be honest, I think he wins against people he shouldnt.. but thats just me. Mortal man defeating gods who trump him in age and experience.

Jin is physically superior and has a lot more personal power than lui kang has in IMO.

If we are going of of just feats.. lui kang should win. im personally going with Jin though

Actually I'm changing my opinion...jin win in both cases. He is too durable for liu kang. Liu wouldn't be able to put him down before jin KO him

Jin would win flat. Jin beated azazel which is as strong as a god and he did so in one punch. And for god's sake people it says that both of them are at their prime which means jin CAN use devil gene
And when jin turns into this hadra said that everything is multiplied by 100 and he gets alot of new attack and abilities and he can also fire blast strong enough to destroy an island

Jin wins. He could probably do better in MK due to his physicals.

Liu kang would slaughter jin. He's a way better fighter and has more power as a human then jin does as a devil. He beat shao Kahn and other gods who would destroy anything from tekken with ease.

That's bull. Lui had his neck snapped and died. Jin lived though bullets and falling from space. Jin hits hard enough to hurt his father who's body is strong enough not to be destroyed by a volcano. He crushes.

In terms of skill, Kang is significantly overpowered, Jin will never be as skilled as he is.

In terms of speed and strength, Jin. Some of the tekken fighters can dodge bullets heihachi was flung miles into the horizon after a giant explosion went off near him, he landed on solid ground, broke some bones and recovered. Kang can punch Jin in the eyeball and throat all day long and it probably won't even phase Jin.

@bossmonster: snapping me necks is just mortal kombat basic does. Liu king punched a hole through shao Kahn. He's defeated demons and elder gods. He deals with foes who would solo tekken.

Jin can turn into a demon who still struggles fighting street level fighters.

Liu king can manipulate fire, teleport, practically defy gravity. And that just his normal form. His body strength alone let's him, rip people in half, punch though walls, and chop diamond and steel in half. Jin gets wrecked, especially in martial arts.

Here, we have, a guy who has not seen this.

I would be lame and comment on how badly that comment was typed but I'll just tell you to do better next time. I know what you were trying to say.

Show me a scan of him punching through Shoa Kahns chest and then show me why that matters. Jin has fought Gods and Demons too, so I don't see your point. There are no MK characters that can Solo Takken. Thats laughable.

There is no one in Takken that would be street level that Jin has Struggled with. Jin has never lost a fight in the story minus being distracted by his own transformation, which still won that fight afterwords.

Who cares? Orge, True Oger, His grandfather, Azazel and Devil could do all those things too and Jin has beat them and they are all stronger than Lui Kang.

You haven't done anything but make up stuff to give a win to someone who wouldn't.
