@soothing_sounds: Link has the collective skill of his counterparts, but all generally have the same level of Skill in every version, and the Tri-Force of Courage really just enabled his multiple selves to learn these skills faster. In most instances Link has almost always had a partner to help him find weaknesses or get around things.
The Prince, on the other hand, mostly goes at it alone, and has not just sharpened his skills through training and fighting multiple enemies, but has actually traveled through time on multiple points while being chased by dark entities seeking to remove him from existence because he'd used the Dagger to alter events.
As for 'invincibility', in all honesty Link never really attains that, and when he appears to it's limited by how many gems he has. Once those run out his armor becomes as useful as wearing a sheet of paper on your chest. All of Link's best tools had an in-built limit. Not unlike how many times the Dagger of Time can be used before the sands run out.
Though a technicality, the Op says weapons/powers, and the Invulnerability was never a 'Power', but a magical effect on the armor he was wearing or a combination of several different items that also had a time limit and required various materials.
If you looked at them without special items, the Prince is actually far more skilled and faster with much greater agility and cunning in a fight over Link. Round 1 goes to the Prince for these reasons. Round 2 is just a cluster of "Who is more powerful than who"
