@matezoide2: I have a decent reason for the Lich King to win.

Lets look at some of your arguments. Can the Lich King erase two armies in one strike like it was nothing? Probably. Kratos has not been seen doing that, btw. Kratos did not wrestle giants, he attacked convenient weak spots while the giants flailed about or just looked at him. The Lich King doesn't tear souls apart, he devours them.

Nothing Kratos can do can hurt the Lich King. His weapons would not get through his armor, and even if they did, you can't kill what's already dead by physical means. And you can't take his soul either, it's bound to Frostmourn. Also, technically Kratos is undead and thus is completely under the control of the Lich King once he gets within one mile. In no way is Kratos capable of killing the Lich King.

BUMP. Lich King freeze him and smash him to pieces.

Unless kratos dosent have a soul one hit from frost ourne and he dies plus speed is a non factor vs arthas as his ice minulation is all around him and restricts all fibhting in that section to be equal speed so its just about skill

The Lich King OWNS Kratos! What the heck is Kratos going to do against someone like him? There are players in WoW that would stomp Kratos. He doesn't stand a chance!

Mismatch. Kratos is a god and has the feats to back him up. Arthas as the Lich King did jiggly squat. He can summon 10.000 minions and they'd be dead within 60 seconds.

Kratos slows down time and steps on Arthas.

@skaddix: He is not really overrated that much. He DID resist being crushed by a planetary titan and retained a God crafted weapon.

Still Lich King got magic which can be very useful here.

like everyone else said, the lich king arthas destroys him as usual, in fact any of the forty adventurers that he casually oneshotted at once on top of icecrown citadel are each one on their own more powerful than god of war stuff, kratos caps at around town level at best based on his strongest, meanwhile arthas even as regular paladin was taking down armies upon armies of powerful monsters, undead, demons and other enemies, while kratos was struggling with small groups of regulra people, as death knight arthas defeated illidan, a character that is outerversal and stalemaned sargeras the dark titan who splits worlds in half, from lich king and onward it is a complete stomp for all of god of war since arthas can destroy everyone just with his worldscale psychic powers alone, not to mention shadowlands where he became an eternal entity on the afterlife with complete control over undeath

this is an official panel with sargeras cleaving a world in half, nobody in god of war came even remotely close to that or even to above mountain from feats, while illidan was able to stalemane that being, and arthas defeated illidan, all that before he becomes lich king or obtian godhood in shadowlands
