Lex Luthor vs Vandal Savage

Each are given 1 month prep to destroy you and conquer the world, Both are pre-52 versions. Your a superhero who would be easier to stop and why.

Savage and Luthor are both serious. Savage isn't trying to conquer the world because he is bored.

Savage is just a pale imitation of Luthor. Lex has better prep, better tech, is considerably smarter and has better feats.

Luthor. He's slippery, smart, charismatic, and ruthless. Yes, Savage is not slouch, but Luthor's pushes near god-like status in a few story-lines. In a month's time, with his background and resources, he'll be tough to bring down.

I thought Luthor would win but i didn't think no one would have love for savage, he is a much cooler character.

Lex edges Savage out(though I like Vandal Savage more).

not exactly savage has actually conquered the world several times and stopped because he was BORED, as well he has over 50000 years of experience and resources oh yeah and he figured out how that salvation run planet works by himself....

he's simply better with prep, for example in action comics #900 (i think) he managed to become nigh-omnipotent, that's something savage never has done.

but what about when vandal got the spear of destiny? he was able to kill the specture and isnt the specture nigh-omnipotent? so yeah vandal has done that

DC missed the opportunity to make Vandal impressive post FP. He could've easily been made as a counter to Dr Doom and even more. Alive for thousands of years should've given him enough time to be highly sufficient in magic, in countless forms of combat and strategy, and in knowledge/intellect, superior education, large amounts of resources(financial, networks, etc) in abundance, as well as shaping/pioneering technology for the future. He should be an A list villain and something Luthor knows is competition, at least competition. Up against different heroes his different abilities should show. Using his brain and resources for the super empowered ones, besting the street levelers in close combat, a force to be reckoned with in magic.
