Plus losing to Hal isn't that bad of a showing even if sinestro did lose to Hal alone. Hal has sparred with kilowag before IIRC. Sinestro also defeated Kyle one on one after Kyle had told him he had training from batman. So I would say SInestro is a very good hand to hand fighter for someone who doesn't rely on it.

I think Sinestro would win but I feel like they've already fought before.

It's worth noting Lex Luthor has fought Joker and held the skill advantage over him, with Joker's pain tolerance being what gave him the win. Joker does pull a few good showings against Bat-Family members, although those kinds of showings aren't always typical of him. Sinister is defiantly better physically from the scans above so I'd say he wins.

Sinestro would win. He'll probably use the ring to cheat anyway. Even if he didn't have the ring and went hand to hand with Luthor, Sinestro is still more skilled than Lex
