Lex Luthor vs Black Bolt

Lex Luthor of DC's Superman fame takes on Black Bolt of Marvel Comics' Inhumans characters.

Lex Luthor is post-crisis, pre-New 52 version. He has 3 months prep and also possesses prior research on Black Bolt and the Inhumans. He has access to every resource on Lexcorp during the 3 months of prep.

In-character for Lex Luthor, blood-lusted for Black Bolt, with battlefield taking place across the entire planet Earth. No BFR. Winner by opponent's death or opponent's knock-out and subsequent capture.

Who wins?

Luthor - with 4 months prep he should take this with ease unless I'm thinking of the wrong Black Bolt.

Lex with prep can take Supes.

However, its in-character Black Bolt. Lex Luthor had years and he still couldn't beat Superman. And it isn't a clear case of morals on/off because Lex Luthor is ruthless. The only CIS reason I can think of why Lex Luthor didn't beat Superman is because Lex Luthor to Superman is what the Joker is to Batman.

Lex can take Superman, then so as Black Bolt, I don't see how Black Bolt is on Superman's level.

As long as lex doesn't try to talk to him (you get it? That one made me chuckle) he should be fine.

It's pretty lop sided, considering Black Bolt wouldn't do a massive scream when in character.

If it's in character, Black Bolt isn't going to do anything outside of a whisper, depending on what Lex brings to the fight.

If BB feels hes going to lose he wil just scream and i dont even wanna think what will happen

So people are saying that 3 months of prep against a blood-lusted Black Bolt would be more appropriate? I don't know about that, given that Lex Luthor was unable to beat a boyscout Superman for many years.

Given that Lex Luthor is just below Batman in terms of prep, I'd somewhat understand your argument.

However, Lex Luthor have been shown to be regularly using power armor. I think he could imbue his armor with some anti-sonic device to counter Black Bolt's powers.

3 months prep is ridiculous. Lex stomps hard.

I think black bolt could just wail on him with full on shouts due to being blood lusted but I can see lex winning. Nice battle @wenjun_chew_

Lex injects some kind of poison to BB using a needle. He stabs it to BB's butt.

Lex takes this easy..hes made suits and guns that can hang with superman. you don't think with 3 months prep he cant make a suit that reflects or nullify sounds? In INVINCIBLE Robot(their version of lex/ironman) made a suit that emmited a sound strong enough to take down Invincible, everytime invincible punched him pretty much canceling out invincibles power advantage. So whats stopping Lex from making a suit that absorbs sound and sends it back at black bolt?or just traps BB in a sound proof zone or something? in 3 months with prep known ledge of BB already? he should walk through this long as the fight doesn't drag out.
